With the acceleration of construction speed,community banking has increasingly exposed serious drawbacks,such as blind expansion,unreasonable selection of layout,redundancy of human resources,and high homogeneity of products and services,resulting in many community banks being forced to close.M Bank,a well-known commercial bank at home and abroad,faces the same confusion.In order to resolve the key problems of community banking business in M Bank,this study takes Jinan Branch as a case,comprehensively using PEST,EFE,IFE matrix and SWOT analysis tools,through interviews and questionnaires,trying to propose a feasible strategy for the development of M Bank Jinan Branch Community Bank,and provide a reference for M Bank to formulate the developing strategies.This paper mainly includes the following three aspects.Firstly,analyze the development environment of M Bank Jinan Branch Community Bank.Using PEST analysis to analyze the political,economic,social,and technological macro-environment faced by community banking business,combined with the results of industry environmental analysis,it is considered that there are five key opportunities for M bank community bank development,such as national financial policy support,but It also faces six major threats,such as the serious homogenization of products and services.The internal resources and capability analysis results indicate that M Bank has five advantages,such as clear development of community banks,and seven disadvantages,such as blind expansion of outlets.According to the EFE and IFE matrix evaluation results,although the M Bank Jinan Branch faces an unfavorable external environment while developing community bank,but its advantages are obvious.Secondly,design the development strategy of M Bank Jinan Branch Community Bank.Based on the SWOT analysis,it is believed that M Bank should further clarify the community bank layout principle and optimize the organizational structure in the SO strategy.In the WO strategy,the community bank management mode,business model and service model should be innovated.In the ST strategy,it should improve the exit mechanism and optimize the layout.In the WT strategy,the investment of research and development should be increased to develop differentiated products and services suitable for community residents.Finally,the development strategy guarantee measures of the M Bank Jinan BranchCommunity Bank were put forward.According to the research,in terms of organization,the leaders of M Bank Headquarters and Jinan Branch should attach great importance to the development and transformation of community banks,and further improve the management system of community banks.In terms of human resources protection,it is recommended to strengthen the construction of community banking teams,strengthen the assessment of community bank employees.In terms of system security,it should improve the system of community banking operations and establish the risk management of community banks.The main innovation of this research is to summarize the key external environment and internal conditions that affect the development of community banking business of M Bank Jinan Branch,and design a specific strategy in line with the actual development of community banking business of M Bank Jinan Branch.
