Strategic Planning Research On Creating A Gaoyou Duck Feature Town In Cheluo Of Gaoyou City

In recent years,successful research and construction of feature towns have paved a special path to urbanization in China.Under the ever changing economic and social circumstances,feature town stands out as a novel urbanization path and model for successful countryside development.It becomes a symbol of breakthrough to promote the transformation of traditional farm to modern urban lifestyle.Gaoyou duck industry has complete operating chains and deep connections to local cultural and natural resources.Cheluo Town,as a core town of Gaoyou duck industry,may effectively integrate the feature industry with tourism resources and promote the upgrading of local industry and the development of urbanization.Through data collection,quantitative analysis,literature research,practice exploration and example dissection methods,this thesis aims at the planning and construction of Gaoyou Duck feature town in Cheluo through the development of the Gaoyou duck industry chain over the recent years,refining and summarizing the design strategy of the current construction of the Gaoyou duck feature town,and proposing further planning and practical suggestions for promoting the Gaoyou duck feature town in Cheluo Town.The whole thesis includes six portions.The first part is the introduction,expounding the relevant background,development and policy aspects of the topic;forming the overall framework of the thesis;and establishing research ideas and explaining research methods.The second part summarizes the literature research on the construction of domestic and foreign feature towns.The third part analyzes the characteristics of Cheluo Town in Gaoyou City from the aspects of location and economic status,existing industrial production forms,Gaoyou duck industry overview and selection of feature towns.The fourth part proposes the planning and design strategy for the Gaoyou duck feature town in Cheluo Town,Gaoyou City,basing on theoretical and the empirical experiences of the author.The fifth part expounds the planning practice of the Gaoyou duck feature town in Cheluo Town,Gaoyou City from five core aspects,including industrial sector,community function,cultural tourism,landscape management and smart green energy.The sixth part is the conclusion and outlook.The construction of a Gaoyou duck feature town in Cheluo Town,it may become an impetus to the formation of a chain industry of the Gaoyou duck,benefiting Gaoyou,Baoying and Xinghua duck industry and strengthening the local ties.The overall development of the Gaoyou duck industry will provide an example for the construction of feature town in the central Jiangsu Lixiahe regions(Lowland River reaches),increases local employment opportunities and ease off the employment pressure in the region.Through the planning and research on the Gaoyou duck feature town in Cheluo Town,Gaoyou City,this thesis aims to provide new ideas and reference for the development of feature towns in Gaoyou City and central Jiangsu Lowland River reaches in the wave of building feature towns.
