Research On The Key Success Factors Of China's Additive Manufacturing (industry)

At present,the Additive Manufacturing(also known as 3D printing technology)has undoubtedly became the focus of attention all over the world,the "Economist" magazine believes that the Additive Manufacturing technology and other digital production model will promote the "third industrial revolution" together.Among developed countries in Europe and the American,Additive Manufacturing has already brings both huge challenges and important opportunities to the traditional manufacturing industry.China,as the world's major manufacturing power,is in the economic transformation and upgrading of the great historical period,so both the practice and the theoretical circles are paying the attention on the Additive Manufacturing.In China,the Additive Manufacturing industry has experienced a rapid development nearly three decades and especially on the technology level,there has been extensive and deep study on its technical aspects.During 18 National Congress of the Communist Party,the Additive Manufacturing technology is included in the " China Manufacturing 2025" project.Therefore,it is of great practical and theoretical significance to understand the development rules of the material manufacturing industry,to clarify the influence factors of the material manufacturing industry and to construct the evaluation system of the Additive Manufacturing industry.Based on the existing research,we built the research from the perspective of industry development and based on the theory of industry development.We take the Additive Manufacturing enterprises as our sample,use expert interview method,factor analysis and AHP method to discuss the key success factors that affect the development of China Additive Manufacturing industry and establishes the evaluation model of the competitiveness of the Additive Manufacturing industry.This paper summarizes the five factors that affect the success of the Additive Manufacturing industry:government support,technological breakthrough,market development,HR strength and regional factors.Furthermore,with the help of expert scoring,we establishes the evaluation model of the Additive Manufacturing industry based on four aspects.On this basis,we offer the suggestions from the government level and the industry level.
