During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period,the central and local governments at all levels are committed to research?explore and establish the scientific and effective food safety regulation mode.In recent years,the field of food safety in China maintain a steady and positive situation.During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period,China will continue to strengthen food safety supervision.The 13 th Five-Year Plan for Food Safety includes the implementation of the Quality and Safety Improvement Project for the Catering Industry as a key point,it regards catering food safety as a major livelihood project and calls for comprehensive treatment of "table pollution".People's concerns about food safety have been partly reflected in the spate of food safety rumours over the past few years.People need healthy,safe,and high-quality food,which is one of the trends that will follow in the catering industry.Catering industry is the important component of our country's food consumer market,it plays an important role in people's life.In order to ensure the sustained and stable development of the catering industry,Market Supervision Administration of Qingyuan County began to build Catering service food safety demonstration street and Catering service food safety demonstration units.The aim is to promote the development of food safety level of the catering industry in a holistic manner through the typical demonstration effect,promote work in all areas by drawing upon the experience gained on key points.There are many kinds of Chinese cuisine.Each place has its own unique food culture.As a form of catering enterprises agglomeration,the food street has demonstrated the charm of a city to a certain extent.Based on the experience of food safety supervision,the author discusses the theoretical research and related principles of the supervision and management of small catering industry through the use of literature research,case study method,lessons learned method.Taking Xiapei Road Food Street in Qingyuan County,which successfully established Zhejiang Provincial Catering Food Safety Demonstration Street as an example,the characteristics,experience and effectiveness of this street in Qingyuan County are introduced,and the problems existing in the catering service units of this food street are summarized and the reasons are analyzed.Based on the study of the foodservice industry supervision system at home and abroad,the author brings up some suggestions to improve food safety supervision of small catering units in food street.It provides a reference for the food safety supervision of food demonstration street in China's small cities.
