With the economic development and social progress,as well as the yearning for a better life,the general public is increasingly concerned about food safety.However,in recent years,frequent food safety incidents,especially in the catering industry,have sounded the alarm bell to the government.We must attach great importance to and strengthen the supervision of food safety in the catering industry.Based on the theoretical analysis of government failure and information asymmetry,taking Qingshen County of Sichuan Province as an example,this paper analyzes the current situation of food safety supervision of catering industry in Qingshen County,analyzes the problems existing in the food safety supervision of catering industry of Qingshen County,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions.This paper consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,which includes the background of the topic.It discusses the significance of the research from both theoretical and practical aspects.It also analyzes the summary of domestic and foreign research.This paper uses the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview to introduce the research path,innovation and shortcomings.The second part introduces the theoretical basis and concept definition of this paper.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of food safety supervision in Qingshen county.It introduces the basic situation of Qingshen catering industry,the basic situation of supervision team and the main methods of supervision work.The fourth part summarizes the main problems existing in the food safety supervision of Qingshen County catering industry from the aspects of government supervision,industry self-regulation and social supervision based on the questionnaire survey of consumers and interviews with supervisors and regulatory objects.The fifth part analyzes the main reasons for the problems existing in the food safety supervision of Qingshen county's catering industry,which are the potential problems after the reform of the regulatory body,the relatively backward regulatory concept,the defects in the regulatory laws and regulations system,the lack of social responsibility awareness of employees and insufficient publicity and education.The sixth part combines the reality of Qingshen county and the current situation of institutional reform,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the food safety supervision of Qingshen county from the aspects of improving the supervision mechanism,strengthening the construction of supervision team,strengthening the main responsibility of the catering industry and building a new situation of social co governance.
