The sustained development of domestic urban rail transit construction investment has driven the fast growth of the rail transit equipment service industry.Y Company is a subsidiary of Nanchang Branch of Automation System Equipment Co.,Ltd.With the expansion of business scale and the intensification of market competition,Y Company has experienced an increase in communication costs,evading responsibilities,burnout,and thus,a decrease in work efficiency.Therefore,optimizing the company's organizational structure,redefining the system of responsibilities,clarifying the distribution of resources,thus improving the overall operational efficiency and making the organizational structure provide better management guarantee for business development is necessary for Y Company to improve its competitiveness.This study first introduces the background of Y Company,acknowledges the company's current strategy,and then grasps the necessity and direction of the company's organizational structure optimization.Secondly,this study reviews organizational theories and the characteristics of existing organizational structure models.Then,this study introduces the organizational structure of the advanced rail transit enterprises in Shenzhen,Guangzhou,Shanghai,Nanjing,etc.These cases help grasp the industry development trend and provide a suggested direction for Y Company's Organizational Structure Optimization.Thirdly,combined with survey and interview,this study analyzes the problems existing in the current organizational structure,and then proposes an optimization plan based on the Y Company's needs to consolidate the management foundation of the integrated services of urban rail transit equipment.The optimization plan of Y Company's organizational structure designed in this study adopts the mode of “N project team + project center + personnel administration finance”.Consistent with the group strategy,this optimization may help build a new organizational structure that contained clarified responsibilities,distinctive organizational level,controllable risks,and adaptive function.Therefore,rather than theoretical significance,this study may have higher practical value,which help provide a reference for those rail transit equipment service enterprises to build a more reasonable organizational structure system in the high-speed development stage of integrated service.
