Analysisi Of Logistics Efficiency And Its Influencing Factors In Jilin Province

With the acceleration of the globalization process,the logistics industry has gradually become an important indicator to measure the level of modernization and comprehensive national strength of a country or region.Located in the central part of Northeast China,Jilin Province is one of the main areas of the "Changjitu Development and Opening Pilot Area" and one of the areas of "The Belt and Road".Studying the development of logistics industry in Jilin Province plays an important role in improving regional competitiveness and economic development along The Belt and Road.This thesis takes Jilin Province as the research object,summarizes the research objects and research methods of logistics efficiency at home and abroad,selects the number of employees in the logistics industry,the number of employees in the logistics industry,the mileage of the grade highway as the input index,the output value of the logistics industry,and the freight.Volume and freight turnover are used as output indicators,and input and output data for 2008-2017 are used as cross-sectional data.Firstly,through the DEA model,the technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of Jilin Province and other 30 regions were compared horizontally.The research found that the technical efficiency of Jilin Province ranked 26th in the country,at a relatively backward level,and lacked in Jilin Province.Competitive enterprises and logistics practitioners have a certain relationship with low education level.Then,using Malmquist's total factor productivity index method to analyze the logistics efficiency time series,the dynamic analysis of the total factor productivity and technical efficiency of logistics in Jilin Province,Changes in technological progress,changes in pure technical efficiency,and changes in scale efficiency have found that the main factors affecting total factor productivity are changes in technological progress and changes in scale efficiency,followed by changes in pure technological efficiency,that is,with technological development levels and economic development levels.A certain relationship;finally,the paper uses the results of the above two models to measure the influencing factors,namely,the level of economic development,the education lewel of logistics practitioners,the level of foreign investment,location quotient,technological development level and logistics efficiency of Jilin Province.A certain relationship.In order to better study the influencing factors of logistics efficiency,this paper conducts a correlation study on the explanatory variables.Since foreign investment level has a strong correlation with technological development level and regional economic development level,the foreign investment level is removed and Tobit is adopted.The model has carried out regression analysis on the remaining four influencing factors,and both have significant correlation with logistics efficiency in Jilin Province.Based on this,suggestions for improvement of logistics efficiency in Jilin Province are proposed.
