For a long time, the problem of poverty has been a hot topic for scholars at home and abroad.Over the years,China has also been committed to poverty alleviation, but so far it has not eradicated poverty from its root causes. At the same time,China still has serious problems such as unbalanced economic development and widening gap between rich and poor.As one of the main battlefields of poverty alleviation in China, the poverty problem in Yunnan Province is particularly prominent.By the end of 2018,there were still 40 poor counties in Yunnan Province, ranking first in the country, with 1.18 million rural poor people, accounting for 13.1% of the total number of poor people in the country. However,we need to pay attention to the fact that poverty alleviation in China is turning to comprehensiveness and precision. In 2016,China's "Opinions on the Implementation of Financial Aid to Eliminate Poverty and Attack Hardships" indicated that on the basis of inclusive financial development,we should make every effort to promote financial services to cover households in poverty-stricken areas and become an important support to help poor farmers out of poverty.According to the purpose of the study, firstly, the background, significance, contents and methods of the paper research are introduced, and the related literature research is elaborated.Secondly,it defines the relevant concepts and analyses the theoretical basis of the research.Thirdly, the paper analyses the development status of Inclusive Finance in Yunnan Province by quantitative method, and proves the feasibility of Inclusive Finance for poverty alleviation by using mathematical and physical formulas. It also theoretically analyses the impact of the breadth, depth and availability of inclusive financial services on poverty in Yunnan Province. Then, taking MPI multi-dimensional poverty index as the benchmark,10 secondary indicators are selected from four dimensions of health, education, living standards and medical institutions, and the poverty situation in Yunnan Province is estimated by using the relevant data of Yunnan Province from 2006 to 2017.In order to further test the effect of Inclusive Finance in alleviating poverty in Yunnan Province and verify the theoretical analysis conclusion of Chapter 3,this paper chooses the poverty index of Yunnan Province as dependent variable, the breadth, depth and availability of inclusive financial services in Yunnan Province as independent variable. Then,we conduct the Granger causality test,VAR model and impulse response function to analyze the relationship between inclusive finance and poverty in Yunnan province. The following conclusions were drawn: First,in the short run,the breadth and depth of inclusive financial services in Yunnan Province have a positive effect on poverty alleviation, while the availability of inclusive financial services in Yunnan Province has no obvious effect on poverty alleviation.Second,in the long run,the impact of the breadth of inclusive financial services on poverty alleviation in Yunnan Province is not significant, while the deepening of the depth of inclusive financial services in Yunnan Province will aggravate the poverty situation in Yunnan Province in the long run.Unlike this, the availability of inclusive financial services in Yunnan Province will significantly alleviate rural poverty in the long run. Finally, from the three perspectives of improving the diversified financial system, improving the coverage of Inclusive Finance in Yunnan Province;Improving the targeting of inclusive financial service objects, effectively docking the financial needs of farmers;Optimizing the infrastructure environment for inclusive financial development, and improving the accuracy and comprehensiveness of poverty alleviation, the paper gives relevant policy recommendations for poverty alleviation by Inclusive Finance in Yunnan Province.
