Globalization has become more and more frequent with the development of the times.In the past,“national islands” completely independent of modern society have gradually moved toward common civilization with the increase of communication.In the era of the gradual assimilation of civilization,after satisfying the need of food and clothing,people began to explore the past life of themselves and others,and experience different cultures different from the usual environment.Under this background,ethnic tourism began to become a new tourist hotspot.However,most ethnic minority tourist areas are relatively backward in economy.How to deal with the influx of tourists and frequent and short-term cross-cultural exchanges in minority areas will bring about changes in minority tourist areas.This is a common concern of tourism scholars and anthropologists..This article takes Guilin Huangluo Yao Village as the research point,and takes the influence of cultural exchanges in tourism on the host community as the main object of investigation.It studies the cultural influence of Huangluo Yao Village as a tourist transit place,and relies on cultural communication theory and cultural reproduction.The theory elaborates the social effects of tourism on Huangluo Yao Village.Firstly,the article sorts out the source and livelihood of the Hongyao ethnic group in Huangluo Yaozhai,and finds that due to the long-term migration habits of Hongyao,it has produced a strong national cohesive force,which has obvious national characteristics.The livelihood of Huangluo Yaozhai from the rice cultivation period to In the period of tourism development,according to the theory that “the development ofthe process determines the change of culture”,the social and cultural changes of Huangluo Yaozhai change with the change of production materials and production methods in the change of livelihood methods.Through the analysis of the national tourism and cross-cultural communication process of Huangluo Yaozhai,due to the forms and obstacles of cross-cultural communication and the constraints of Huangluo Village's own tourism resources and the environment of tourism,the development of Huangluo Yaozhai national tourism products stayed in the shallow Under the understanding of the “signalization of tourism” stage,Huangluo Yaozhai pushed the Hongyao symbol to the market one-sidedly,causing it to be separated from daily life and forming a “ cultural island ”;finally,the cross-cultural tourism on the social impact of Huangluo Yaozhai was macroscopic and microscopic.The analysis of each aspect is based on the observation of material life and ideology.The conclusions reached in this paper are:(1)After the cross-cultural exchange,the social life of Guilin Huangluo has changed greatly in terms of material life before the development of tourism,and the conditions of clothing,food and housing have been improved.(2)The modern cultural process in ethnic minority tourist areas has accelerated with the deepening of tourism development,but with the continuous development of tourism,the phenomenon of “cultural islands”will also increase.(3)Due to the influence of Guilin's tourism environment,the short-distance travel mode based on group tourists makes Huangluo's tourism destinations tend to be “symbolic-oriented” in tourism planning,in terms of host communities.
