The Influence Of Producer Services On The Status Of GVC In China's Manufacturing Industry

With the globalization of production and trade,the rise of global value chains has brought new opportunities and challenges for developing countries.China,as a powerful manufacturing country and the world's leading trader of goods,has a high degree of participation in the global value chain,but there are still large gaps of global value chains position in so,me industries between China and developed countries.As a supportive industry for manufacturing,the development of productive service industries can greatly improve China's industrial structure,increase the technological of China's manufacturing industry,and break the original ratio to promote the status of the manufacturing value chain.This article focuses on the impact of the development of producer service industry on the status of China's manufacturing value chain,and uses Koopman's global value chain position index to measure the status of China's manufacturirg industry and its sub-industries in the value chain Based on this,the article points out that the lag in the development of producers services is a major obstacle to the rise of China's manufacturing value chain.It also describes the status quo of China's producer service industry,and then uses the panel regression model to empirically analyze.The impact of the development of producer services on the status of the manufacturing value chain,further explored the differences in the dynamics of different types of producer services.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The development of Producer services has a positive effect on the rise of the value chain of manufacturing industries,but there are differences in the influence of different factor-intensive industries.(2)The traditional producer services can promote the rise of the value chain in the labor-intensive manufacturing industry.(3)The knowledge-technology-intensive producer services industry,such as the financial industry,information technology,and business services,have largely increased the value chain in the manufacturing industry.The development of information transmission,computer services,and software development has the most significant impact on technology-intensive manufacturing.(4)Transportation,warehousing and postal industries have less influence on the rise of the value chain.There is a lag effect on the impact of scientific research,technical services,and geological exploration industries on the rise of the manufacturing value chain.In summary,this paper proposes targeted recommendations for the differences in the dynamics of the rising global value chain of the manufacturing service industry.
