With the development of international trade and the deepening of international division of labor,countries and industries gain the realization of value increase in the Global Value Chain(GVC).China's service industry relies on the comparative advantage of cheap labor cost and natural resources to participate in the international division of labor,but can only be embedded in labour-intensive production and profitability lower position in global value chain.Compared with the U.S.and other developed countries,the position in GVC of China's producer services,the development level and value-added ability of China's producer services is lower.In view of this,this article studies the impact of position in GVC on value-added capacity of China's producer services,and gives suggestions to improve value-added ability and international competitiveness.This paper mainly researches from the following aspects:(1)Clarify definitions and meanings of the process and form of value added of China's producer services,clarify the producer services in China realizes value increase in which parts and ways.Then deduce the factors that affect the producer services' value-added ability through Oz Shy and PaulR.Krugman model.Next,analyse the mechanism that position in GVC influences value-added capacity of China's producer services through the scale effect,competition effect,knowledge spillover effect,and structure optimization effect.(2)WWZ trade flow decomposition method is used to decompose the export trade flows of China's producer services,and then the GVC position of China's producer services is measured by the GVC position index proposed by Koopman et al.It is found that China's producer services are in the position which is slightly higher than middle in GVC.Then measure China's producer services' value-added ability,transaction efficiency,level,r&d,labor cost and FDI.Through empirical results find that the position in GVC of China's producer services has positive influence to the value-added ability,and the improve of China's producer services' GVC position will improve their value-added ability.Finally,based on the above studies,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the value-added capacity of China's producer services—deepen the supply-side reform of the producer service industry and promote high-quality development of them;implement an innovation-driven strategy to improve the core competitiveness;build the service industry information sharing platform to reduce the transaction costs;increase investment to support the cultivation of comprehensive productive service talents and improve the value creation capability of enterprise labor.
