An Empirical Study On The Impact Of FDI In Transportation Service Trade Export In China

At present,the service trade in the international trade field gets more and more attention,it is not only an important strength to influence the world economic development,it is also an important standard to measure a country's modernization level and international competitiveness.In many developing countries,service trade is very backward and lacks advantages in international competition.Therefore,foreign direct investment(FDI)has become an important way to improve the level of service trade.Transportation service trade has been in the field of service trade in the world occupies an important position,because the transportation service trade will not only directly affects a country's international balance of payments,more importantly,the transportation service trade also plays an important role in the development of international goods trade,it can be said that the transportation service trade is a bridge and link of international commodity trade.With the rapid opening up of China's transport service industry,China's transportation service trade and FDI have been greatly developed.Studying whether FDI will promote the export of China's transportation service trade to a certain extent,has a certain theoretical and practical significance to change the plight of China's transportation service trade deficit,and to ease the total service trade deficit and promote the development of goods trade.This paper takes "The Impact of FDI in Transportation Service Trade in China" as the research object.firstly,elaborated the FDI and transportation service trade related theoretical basis and conduction paths;then,it makes a comprehensive analysis of the status of FDI and China's transportation service trade export and the use of FDI in China's transport industry.Then,the relationship between these two variables is empirically tested by constructing the VAR model of FDI and export of transportation services trade,further more based on Porter's diamond Model,the econometric model are established to analyze how the conduction paths of FDI affect the export of transportation service trade.Finally,based on the above analysis results,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to use FDI to promote the development of China's transportation service trade.The results of this study show that:first,FDI is one of the important factors that affect the export of China's transportation service trade,the inflow of FDI has both promoting effect and substitution effect on transportation service trade export in China,and FDI can influence the forming factors of the competitive advantage of the transport industry under Porter's diamond Model,and then affect China's transportation service trade.Second,there is a long-term equilibrium co-integration relationship between FDI and China's transportation service trade export,and the coefficient sign of FDI is positive,it shows that FDI has promoted China's transportation service trade export in general.Third,FDI can through promote the income growth,improve the development level of port industry and the level of transport industry to strongly promote transportation service trade export.
