Research On The Impact Of Industrial Structure Service On Total Factor Productivity In China

Since the 21st century,China's economy has expanded continuously and has become the world's second largest economy.Compared with the beginning of reform and opening up,China's labor productivity level and labor quality have been continuously improved.The living standards of the people are increasing.However,in recent years,China's economic growth has gradually declined,and the efficiency of investment,import and export,and consumption contributed to economic growth has dropped significantly.The cost of factors has been rising,the demographic dividend has gradually disappeared,and environmental pollution has caused more serious ecological problems.At the time of the report of the 19th National Congress,China is in urgent need of transforming the mode of economic development,reducing factor-driven and investment-driven,and transforming it into economic growth by enhancing innovation capabilities.In order to pursue high-quality economic development,it is necessary to improve the level of total factor productivity in China.From the end of the last century to the beginning of the 21st century,China's total factor productivity level is at a relatively high level.In recent years,China's total factor productivity has been declining.Corporate innovation capability and technological level have been slow to improve,and the current technological level has not improved China's economic development efficiency.The economic growth rate has fallen below 7%At present,in order to deepen supply-side reforms,China has continuously adjusted its industrial structure,promoted the service of industrial structure,promoted the transformation of agriculture and manufacturing into a service industry,and increased the proportion of service industry development.After 2012,the proportion of China's service industry output value surpassed that of industry and became the industry with the highest proportion.Then,studying the impact of China's industrial structure service on total factor productivity is of great significance for analyzing the level of service and improving the technological level and innovation ability of enterprises.The study found that China's industrial structure service has a restraining effect on the level of total factor productivity.The main reasons are as follows:First,China's current level of service is rising.However,compared with developed countries in the West,China's current service efficiency is still low,there is a big gap between the proportion of employment in the service industry and the output value of the service industry,and it has certain room for development.Secondly,China has continuously adjusted its industrial structure,and the original elements have the problem of resetting elements.China's current public service industry is developing rapidly,flooding a large number of high-quality labor,resulting in high-skilled personnel waste,while the production service industry and the manufacturing industry that needs to upgrade the technology level lack high-skilled labor,reducing the ability of enterprises to innovate.Third,the proportion of China's service industry has increased,but most of them are at the low end level,the development of the producer service industry is weak,and the international competitiveness of products is insufficient.Fourth,the policy support effect of traditional industrial transformation is not obvious,resulting in high cost and high risk of traditional enterprise transformation.From a regional perspective,there are regional differences in the impact of China's industrial structure service on TFP.Among them,the eastern region has attracted and trained a large number of high-tech talents by virtue of factor advantages,perfect infrastructure and medical conditions.The development of the service industry in coastal cities is relatively high,and the degree of mismatch between the industry and the employed labor force is low,which increases the local total factor productivity.The central,western and northeastern regions have relatively scarce factor resources,low urban attractiveness,serious brain drain,and low level of service industry development,which cannot effectively raise the level of total factor productivity;F ifth,the policy support effect of traditional industrial transformation is not obvious,which inhibits the integration of service industry and manufacturing industryTherefore,in order to promote the rational upgrading of industrial structure and promote high-quality economic growth,this paper proposes to improve the human capital accumulation and allocation efficiency of the service industry and strengthen regional economic cooperation.
