To hasten the process of industrial structure adjustment in China,a new wave of industrial transformation is about to proceed.There’s going to be variations in the national economy and productivity levels of various economic sectors.The reform of city’s industrial structure is regarded as an important economic entity which will count for much to the overall level of national industrial structure.At the same time,industrial structure adjustment,as an extremely important economic feature of China at present,emphasizing the high-quality development of micro enterprises is undoubtedly the key point and starting point for achieving better advancement of the overall economy.On this basis,the focus on whether the upgrading of industrial structure is sufficient to form advance in the total factor productivity level of manufacturing enterprises,and which factors have played an important role in this indicator,has become an important issue worth studying and exploring.This article is based on the temporal evolution characteristics and impact effects analysis of the industrial structure level of 41 large and medium-sized cities,clarifying the significant correlation between urban industrial structure upgrading,regional economic evolution and industrial enterprise output value,etc.In addition,the calculation results of 47 representative cities and the total factor productivity level of 192 listed manufacturing enterprises were calculated to explore the effect of urban level industrial structure adjustment on the total factor productivity of enterprises and the important factors that affect this important indicator.Research has found that the higher level of urban industrial structure,th more it can stimulate the increase speed of manufacturing enterprises’total factor productivity.This research conclusion is still valid after replacing variables and endogeneity testing.The research on influencing factors shows that the business scale and growth ability represented by all operating income and all asset growth rate respectively have a great positive influence on the total factor productivity level of enterprises,while an excessively high share of fixed assets will have a certain obstructive effect;Furthermore,the effectiveness of corporation revolution capabilities is closely related to the intensity of R&D investment.Enterprises with higher levels of research and development investment have better results by improving innovation capabilities,while government level support is insufficient.The positive effects of industry human capital,science and funding support,and the advancement of the city’s financial industry on total factor productivity of enterprises cannot be ignored.Moreover,enterprises should also make optimal management decisions based on their own R&D investment intensity,ownership nature,and industry characteristics.Overall,it is particularly important to attach importance to the level of total factor productivity at a micro level,it is also important to the achievement of China’s high-quality economic development goals.The research conclusion of this article is of great significance in clarifying the causal relationship between the accelerated adjustment of China’s industrial structure and the total factor productivity level of physical corporations.It provides ideas for the way and direction of raising the total factor productivity of Chinses micro companies,and has crucial reference significance for the new wave of industrial transformation,the upgrading of total factor productivity level,and the vital goal of achieving high-quality development from enterprises to total economy in China. |
