As a branch of mass consumer goods,the clothing industry in our country has emerged a competitive situation earlier.In information age,since the value creation ability of intangible resources is much higher than that of tangible resources,the profit model of light assets in the garment industry has gradually become popular.Today,the light asset profit model is widely welcomed by companies because of its unique and innovative nature.Many companies use this model to create value and enhance their competitiveness.The light asset model is actually a value-driven business model that completes non-core business through outsourcing and other methods,thus the company can focus on product research and development,resource integration,industrial chain management,and brand management.This model changed the company's asset composition and operation,improved the company's profitability,and created a new way of value creation.At present,the domestic market continues to subdivide,the competition pressure from foreign brands is getting worse.Foreign brands,such as Uniqlo,ZARA and H&M,have made high profits in the light asset model,and some domestic clothing brands have fallen into development difficulties.The success of foreign brands has prompted domestic companies to attach importance to this model.The article takes the light asset model as the analysis point,the local company Semir as the object,and uses quantitative and qualitative analysis to analyze the development status of China's clothing industry.Based on the analysis of Semir's light assets,the article studies the establishment of the light asset profit model.From the value chain point of view,the paper analyzes how the company operates the model and the performance of the company under the model.In this mode,the company outsources production,and focuses on design,marketing,and brand management.It has achieved rapid development.The number of stores has increased year by year,sales have continued to grow,and it is far higher than the average level of the industry.However,in the process of development,the company also encountered some problems in its operations.The article gives suggestions to solve these problems in order to help the company better operate this model.At the same time,it hopes to provide reference to other local companies and strengthen local brands.
