A Research On The Profit Model Of Semir Clothing Under The Asset-light Operation

As one of the traditional pillar industries in China,the garment industry is now facing problems such as overcapacity and slow development.It is difficult for enterprises to make profits in the traditional way of operation.It is necessary to change the traditional profit model relying on price and scale,avoid "heavy" and "light",make enterprises sensitive and even intelligent,so as to improve the competitiveness of enterprises in complex environment.Building a profit model suitable for itself by light asset operation can make clothing enterprises become "light" and obtain high profits with low investment leverage,which not only saves resources,but also enables enterprises to concentrate on developing their core competitiveness,improves enterprise operation efficiency and promotes the growth of enterprise performance.It is through the light asset operation that Semir clothing makes its fortune and gradually develops into a representative enterprise in the field of clothing.Based on this,this paper selects Semir clothing,a representative enterprise in the field of clothing,as a case company,and analyzes the profit model of its light assets operation.First of all,it combs the related literature of asset light and profit model,defines the relevant concepts based on the previous research,analyzes the composition and function of profit model,and introduces some related theories,which lays a theoretical foundation for the following research.Then,on the basis of introducing the background of clothing industry,this paper introduces the basic situation of Semir clothing,analyzes the motivation of its light asset operation is the choice under the restriction of resources and the fierce competition in the environment,and analyzes the financial characteristics of its light asset operation.After that,according to the model of Adrian's profit model introduced in the theoretical basis,the paper divides the profit model of Semir clothing,and analyzes the profit model of Semir clothing from four aspects: profit source,profit growth point,profit measure and profit barrier.Finally,the paper uses cash flow analysis and DuPont analysis to analyze the overall profitability of Semir clothing,and finds that it performs better than its competitors.However,the profit model of Semir clothing is not flawless.Through the above analysis,we also found the problems of its profit model,and put forward specific improvement measures accordingly.Through the research on the profit model of Semir clothing under the light assets operation,this paper hopes to help Semir clothing improve the defects in its profit model,enhance its competitiveness in the clothing field,promote its faster and better development,and also hope to provide some reference for other related enterprises.
