Study On Regional Benefits And Influencing Factors Of Industrial Agglomeration In Northeast Development Zone

The rapid development of the development zones has become a major event in our economic,social and political life since the beginning of the Chinese Reform and Opening-up.The construction of the development zones has long been a hot concern to scholars of various fields.Under the supply-side structural reforms and comprehensive deepening reforms,the development zones have once again received attention.However,the current researches on the development zone are mainly focused on the whole country's overall research or the smal-scale individual research.There are few regional studies on the meso scale,especially the regionalization of important economic sectors combined with current development issues.Researches are even more in the state of conception,which provides an opportunity for me to try.The Northeastern China old industrial base is an important part of the country's economic construction.Due to its unique development history and complex constraints,it has been in a state of turbulence for a long time.To promote the reform and innovation of its institutional mechanism,a new development path is conceived from comprehensively understanding the economic and industrial foundation of the Northeast China,analyzing its industrial agglomeration effect and exploring the influencing factors of its economic development.As a policy area for optimizing resource al ocation and improving regional economic production efficiency,the development zones are an effective carrier for trying new development ideas and concepts.And it is conducive to finding a reasonable foothold for the Northeast China revitalization strategy to study the industrial agglomeration effect of the development zones.Taking the development zones in the Northeast China as an example,22 national economic and technological development zones were systematical y analyzed in this paper,and the following work was carried out:The introduction is given in the first chapter.It is mainly clarified that the background of the comprehensive revitalization of the Northeast China and the significance of the development zones to the regional economic development.The second chapter tel s about the research concepts and theoretical basis.The connotation,classification and economic geography theoretical basis of the development zones are sorted out.The third to sixth chapters constitute the main part of the thesis.We focus on the22 national economic and technological development zones in the Northeast China,using the collected national economic development data of the development zones and the development zones' own attributes to study its industrial agglomeration and regional benefits and influencing factors.The nuclear density estimation method is used to analyze and summarize the establishment process,the agglomeration characteristics and the agglomeration patterns of the three leading industries of equipment manufacturing,chemical industry and food processing industry of the economic development zones in Northeast China in Chapter Three.The spatial agglomeration of economic scale and location of the development zone is also analyzed.In Chapter Four,we mainly evaluate the overall benefits brought by regional development of industrial clusters in the development zones,including the economic,spatial and social benefits.And in Chapter Five,we further sort out the influencing factors of the industrial agglomeration situation of the development zones from the perspective of the development zone itself to the regional social environment in which the development zones are located.The self-determination factors include the setting time and the construction scale of development zones.And the social factors consist of the industrial development support,fixed investment level support,and the level of science and technology atmosphere.Both of them will have an impact on the industrial agglomeration situation in the development zones.In the sixth chapter,we propose three development paths to strengthen the contribution of the industrial agglomeration of the development zone to the regional economy development,following the analysis and discussion above,that is,(1)to enhance the industrial chain to promote the concentration of enterprises into industrial agglomeration;(2)to adjust the industrial structure to cope with the economic downturn;(3)to deal with the industrial homogenization and improve the ability to resist risks based on multi-angled methods.There are some conclusions and prospects in the seventh chapter.It summarizes the work done and the conclusions drawn in the previous part of the thesis,and points out the shortcomings and potential improvements for the theoretical grasp and understanding of the thesis.There are also some visions that should be paid attention to in the future research.
