After entering the 21 st century,the booming in the information age has brought enormous challenges to the development of the information technology(“IT”)industry.The rapid development and turnover in the IT industry have resulted in an increasing need in more professionals with adequate IT skills.Only by relying on continuous practice,advanced studies,learning and other new technologies can the company continuously improve its competitiveness and secure its winning position.The core competitiveness of a company is represented by its talents.At present,there is a shortage of technical talents in the job market,and the technical skill level for current employees is also very limited.If companies want to remain competitive and keep up with the revolutionized industry,they must shift their attention to the new human resources development model,making full use of organizational resources in order to maximize the benefits of human resources development.At present,China has increased its emphasis on professional education,encouraging schools and companies to work together.By combining classroom-based education with practical work experience,cooperative education will result in more resources with professional skills.DY Company(“DY”)is the first listed software company in China.The company focuses on software technology.By improving the company's core competitiveness through the implementation of innovation,efficient operation management,and human resources development strategies,DY has achieved and created more benefits for its customers.In promoting the development of human resources in the software industry and sharing IT human resources with customers and business partners,DY has established three IT academies in Qingdao,Zhuhai and Chongqing.In order to meet the needs of different levels of talents and professional education,DY is also exploring cooperative education with the local universities.For example,it started with D University regarding the cooperative education program which in turn providing more professional resources to DY.This has ensured the sustainable development of DY.Problems have emerged during the implementation of the program.This paper summarizes the needs of different levels of DY internal users and the current issues by reviewing many domestic and foreign-related files and doing field investigations,conducting various forms of questionnaires,combining various data and real-life situations.With all the aforementioned studies,the paper proposes a reasonable solution regarding the problems emerged.Through the case study of DY's "cooperative education" project,it draws on the research results of various disciplines such as strategic management,human resource management,and organizational behavior,focusing on human resource management as the theoretical basis.By abandoning the outdated personnel management,the paper provides a reference for companies to switch from old personnel management to human resource management.
