As the largest city in the central region of China and the capital of Hubei Province,Wuhan has developed rapidly in recent years.Especially under the opportunity of the new round of development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone,Wuhan is defined as a mega-city and a national central city.Under the background of rapid urbanization,on the one hand, the land in Wuhan has been fully utilized,on the other hand, the problems related to land are increasing. Therefore, the research on the change of land use structure, the search for the reasons for the change of land use structure, and the optimization of land use structure become the focus of land use research under the background of rapid urbanization. In view of this, based on the background of rapid urbanization, this paper uses the method of information entropy to analyze the change of land use structure in Wuhan from 2009 to 2017,uses Pearson correlation coefficient method to explore the correlation between urbanization and the change of land use information entropy, and uses principal component analysis and regression analysis to explore the driving factors and driving mechanism of the change of land use structure in Wuhan. Finally, some suggestions are put forward to optimize the related problems of land use structure change at the present stage. The results show that the land use structure of Wuhan has changed significantly from 2009 to 2017.The main changes are as follows:the area of farmland, garden land, forest land, grassland and other agricultural land is decreasing, the area of urban villages, industrial and mining land, transportation land and other construction land is increasing, among which the net outflow value of cultivated land is the largest, and the land of urban villages and industrial and mining construction land is the largest.According to the change trend of information entropy and equilibrium degree, the change of land use structure in Wuhan from 2009 to 2017 can be divided into two stages:the information entropy of land use structure declined rapidly in 2008-2011,the information entropy of land use structure increased overall in 2011-2017,and the information entropy decreased first and then increased. The land use structure in Wuhan changed from unbalanced to balanced.Under the background of rapid urbanization, the driving forces of the relevant factors affecting the change of land use structure in Wuhan are gradually strengthened, among which the main driving factors are population structure, economic development, public services and urban ecological environment, which are as follows:the proportion of non-agricultural population, the proportion of tertiary industry employees, real GDP per capita, per capita disposable income of urban residents, the Engel's coefficient of urban residents, the per capita possession of public library collections, the number of hospital beds per 10,000 people, the green area rate of built-up areas, and the per capita park green area.Among them,Engel's coefficient of urban residents is positively correlated with the change of agricultural land, negatively correlated with the change of construction land, and the remaining eight indicators are negatively correlated with the change of agricultural land and positively correlated with the change of construction land.On the basis of the above analysis results, the paper summarizes the related problems of land use structure in Wuhan on the balance of agricultural land and construction land, ecological environment protection and other land development.Based on the above problems, the paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects of guiding ideology, basic principles and optimization direction in order to optimize the development of land use structure in Wuhan.Make every effort to improve the level of land use and achieve sustainable development in Wuhan.
