Perishable Products Supply Chain Coordination Considering Fairness Concerns And Sales Effort

In the present scenarios of globalization,product lifecycles have become much shorter and the model change has been more frequent.Consequently,more and more products had perishable product attributes.From the angles of supply chain management.This thesis use contract theory to construct perishable product's supply chain coordination mechanism regarding perishable product as the research object.In reality,the behavior of the supply chain members,such as order quantity,promotional efforts,and fairness concerns will affect supply chain's management and income due to the complexity of and uncertainty.In this paper,we aimed at the features of the supply chain such as short sales period,low end-period residual value of unsold products and large demand uncertainty,taking the sales efforts and fairness concerns into account,and we created models of combined contract with the buyback and sales reward and penalty contract to coordinate the perishable product's supply chain by extending the Newsboy model.The major contents of the thesis are displayed as follows:(1)Build a contract model for 2 level supply chain with effort dependent stochastic demand.Firstly,we give the condition which can make the supply chain coordinate,and analyze the reason why single contract can't coordinate the supply chain in that case.Then we design a combined contract with the buyback and sales reward and penalty contract to solve the problem.We find that the supply chain can be coordinated with the combine contract properly designed,cant realize the reasonable distribution of the profits under fairness neutral.(2)We research how to use the combine contract to coordinate the supply chain with sales efforts factors affect demand in one transaction or two transactions of three level supply chain.The research results prove that he fonner is a special case of latter and the coiitract will still be able to coordinate the supply chain.(3)Research supply chain with effort dependent stochastic demand model incorporating fairness concerns and use Nash bargaining equilibrium solution as fairness reference point.Then establish the combined contract model with the buyback and sales reward and penalty and carry through solution and analysis.we found that fairness concerns can't affect coordination of the combine contract.And the contract can divide the profit reasonably between supply chain members by using an explicit value of sales target.
