Research On The Relationship Between Export Price,Export Quality And Productivity

As China’s economy enters a new stage of development,improving the quality of the supply system has become the main task of economic development.Especially for the export,a series of measures such as improving product quality and adjusting export structure according to industry characteristics are of positive significance.In order to give readers a basic understanding of China’s total export volume and structure in recent years,this paper analyzes the general status of China’s exports firstly.Then it constructs a theoretical model for enterprise heterogeneity.The measurements of total factor productivity and product quality are also further introduced.Based on the research results of my study,this paper has drawn the following significant conclusions: 1.China’s total export volume has been expanding in the past decade,but it still needs to improve the overall export quality;2.The quality effect and productivity effect are indeed applicable to China’s exports;3.Compared with state-owned enterprises and collective enterprises,foreign-owned enterprises and joint ventures have higher product quality and higher export prices;4.Products with larger differences in product quality have more significant positive relationship between export price and productivity;5.Changes in trade freedom also affect the relationship between export quality and productivity.From the conclusion of this paper,the government should positively strengthen the price and quality guidance of the export market.Since the foreign capital has influence on improving the quality of products,the government can actively expand the way of cooperation with foreign capital.The government should also guide enterprises to enter industries with larger differences in product quality and further ameliorate the export structure.
