Since the "One Belt And One Road" initiative was put forward,the economic exchanges between China and asean countries have been continuously deepened.While the two sides have made numerous achievements in economic cooperation,the trade competition between the two sides cannot be ignored.China and the association of south-east Asian nations(asean)and for developing countries,manufacturing products is one of the most important part of both sides in the foreign trade,exports accounted for the proportion of total exports of manufactured goods in more than half of all the year round,at the same time as in the global value chain division of labor between China and asean countries are low,in the structure of export products have high similarity,thus the manufacturing products must exist a certain competitive in world markets.At the same time,the product structure of the manufacturing industry of both sides is not exactly the same,and the difference in this structure will lead to the existence of certain complementarity in the manufacturing industry of both sides.Therefore,clarify the manufacturing product competitive and complementary,and in view of the competition and complementary and formulate corresponding policies and measures to better use of the two sides of the difference of manufacturing products export structure of China and asean countries have complementary advantages,so as to better play to the role of the strategy of "area",reduce the trade competition both sides in the common market,control the trade friction,achieve the goal of harmonious development and benign competition,realize the common prosperity of China and asean countries.In this paper,the trade competitiveness of five highly developed asean countries,namely Singapore,Malaysia,Thailand,the Philippines and Indonesia,with China in the OECD market,the common export market of products,is studied.In this paper,the trade competitiveness of exports from China and asean countries to OECD markets is analyzed by using the revealed comparative advantage index(RCA),and the trade competitiveness of China and asean countries in the common market is analyzed from the perspective of product domain.Using export similarity index ES at the same time,the market between China and asean five countries in the OECD manufacturing products export similarity analysis,from the market to parse the domain field between China and asean five countries trade competitive,in the common market in market and product domains dual Angle of view for China and asean five countries in trade competitive analysis of the common market.Pass on the RCA index between China and asean five countries,ES index to measure and empirical analysis,this paper found that the factor endowments,technology level,financial openness,foreign direct investment and economic scale has different effects on different manufacturing product,from the point of product domain field,factor endowment,the technical level of all manufacturing product has significant impact on trade competitiveness,foreign direct investment of chemical manufacturing and miscellaneous products has a significant impact on trade competitiveness,economic scale has a significant influence on chemical industry trade competitiveness of manufacturing industry,financial openness to trade competitiveness of machinery and transport equipment has significant effects;From the perspective of market area,factor endowment,technical level,financial openness and foreign direct investment have a significant impact on the export similarity of China and the five asean countries in the OECD market,but the impact of economic scale on the export similarity is not significant.Based on the empirical analysis and the actual situation,this paper puts forward suggestions on strengthening cooperation to realize complementary advantages,carrying out industrial structure transformation and upgrading,developing science and technology to rejuvenate the country and promoting regional economic integration.
