The Comparative Study Between Jewish Merchants And Huizhou Merchants

It seems that jewish merchants and Huizhou merchants are different from each other in literal sense,but as the two oldest nations in the east and the west,they are still colliding at the historical node.As the most successful commercial group in the world,jewish merchants are the best symbol of the jewish nation.As the most famous business group in feudal China,Huizhou merchants experienced the period from the peak to the decline of feudal society.Compared with the situation of merchants,jewish merchants have experienced more difficulties in the more than two thousand years of exile,but they have found opportunities in the desperate situation unexpectedly.After experiencing the development of the global market of modern capitalism,they have become world business leaders,and the whole jewish community has also been shining in the world civilization.The prominent Huizhou merchants were the representatives of the development of commodity economy in the feudal society of China.Their production and management mode also greatly promoted the building of capitalism in China.However,they eventually disappeared.This paper intends to analyze the huge difference between the outcomes of the two merchants by making a horizontal comparison across time and space,so as to provide a new reference for the study of Huizhou merchants in the new era.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter focuses on the background of jewish merchants and Huizhou merchants,and puts them in the same dimension for the first time to think across time and space.The second chapter analyzes the experience and obstacles of the development of jewish merchants and Huizhou merchants from the aspect of political and economic environment.The third chapter basically is the choice of the traders and merchants after entering the modem,the full range of the huge opportunity,while Huizhou merchants due to loss of government’s support,facing strong foreign competition,intemal rigid is difficult to change,the fate on the cross and upside down;The last chapter is a summary of the influence of jewish merchants and Huizhou merchants.Both of them are the products of the national culture and commercial wisdom.Although by the Ming and Qing dynasty and the rise of old Huizhou commercial group has ended,but with the development of era,new China is closely connected with the world and then to today’s unceasingly,new derivative is bound to rise,and stand in one thousand but not in the business of jewish merchants is a new era of Huizhou merchants to learn from good object,which not only can improve the overall competitiveness of new Huizhou merchants,also can promote further active of the socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics.Therefore,the comparative study between jewish merchants and Huizhou merchants is of great practical significance for the in-depth exploration of the new future of Huizhou merchants.
