In 2001,China’s first rural commercial bank was established.After nearly 20 years of rural financial shareholding system reform,statistics show that nearly 1,500 rural credit cooperatives have carried out shareholding system reform,accounting for more than 30 percent of the national financial institutions,of which nearly 40 have exceeded 100 billion in total assets,and rural commercial Banks have gradually become the core part of the rural financial system.However,at present,with the rapid development of rural commercial bank,the development of market environment and the change of internal development stage of enterprises,the development of bank has faced a series of challenges and opportunities.Update in the development of the industry environment and the change of industry competition pattern,agricultural commercial Banks should comply to,in the fierce market competition,fully exert their own advantages,in-depth analysis of their own weaknesses,objective evaluation the market challenges,accurately grasp the market opportunity,actively absorb advanced first-class bank,on the basis of successful experiences and practices,accelerate to develop effective,scientific and rational enterprise development strategy,and gain a competitive advantage in the competition,not only realize the improvement of competitiveness of agribusiness Banks,and improve the bank’s contribution to economic and social development.This paper will take Nanchang rural commercial bank as an example to deeply analyze the internal and external environment of the bank as well as SWOT analysis,carefully analyze the problems in the development of the bank,formulate reasonable and feasible long-term development strategy,and finally put forward the strategic measures for the sustainable development of the bank.This paper includes 5 parts: part 1 introduction.Introduction of research background and significance,etc.Part 2 literature review and related theories.This paper expounds the classical strategic management theory,porter’s competitive strategy theory and the new modern strategic management theory.Part 3 analyzes the internal and external environment of Nanchang rural commercial b ank.Focus on PEST analysis,internal environment analysis(management institution analysis,human resource analysis,main business analysis and risk control analysis),and SWOT analysis of Nanchang rural commercial bank.Part 4 problems in thedevelopment of Nanchang rural commercial bank.In-depth analysis of the weak business development,poor profitability,insufficient business innovation,accelerated risk exposure,human resources management problems,and other deficiencies.Part 5selection and implementation of development strategy of Nanchang rural commercial bank.It puts forward four strategies,namely,science and technology strategy,quality and efficiency strategy,introduction of strategic investment strategy and differentiation strategy.Meanwhile,it puts forward four strategic measures,namely,continuous optimization of business structure,continuous acceleration of business transformation,continuous enhancement of risk awareness and continuous enhancement of team building.
