With regard about the recent controversy and blame game on productivity of Public-Prnvate Partnership(PPP)projects, this study has been investigating why there may be differences in attaining innovation, perceived quality, and performance of Public-prnvate partnership initiatives across different geographic areas. For example, the study investigates a scenario where"a private company engaged in waste management will perform in Country ' A' but may not perform in Country ' B' where the task or assignment is the same as the former country. The study empirically sampled and concluded with 475 participants from the public sector, private sectors, and academia based on a survey inquiry. The study used the structural equation modeling method(SEM-PLS)for data analysis. The Results show that significant variations in the desired output of Public-private partnership initiatives are caused by factors such as;environmental dynamism followed by collaborative capacity, environment fit,and absorptive capacity respectively.Furthermore, the findings show that one partner cannot be entirely blamed for the failure of Public-private partnership initiatives. However, this study concluded that, because the highest effect on Public-private partnership productivity based on the study's data is environmental dynamism, which results from governmental activities, public actors may be more liable. This study findings are an explicit opinion of some Public-private partnership technocrats, making the conclusions more trustworthy. |
