Study On Enterprise Knowledge Absorptive Capacity Evolvement Model And The Improvement Solutions

The external circumstance that the enterprises reckoned on has changed. Competition globalization,change of consumption's demand and style,Rapid technology innovation and shortening period of product life affect enterprise's behavior a lot. Continuous innovation is the key way to gain competition advantage confronted with the changing custom demand and competition status. However, the innovation risk and cost may be a big burden to many enterprises. In the meanwhile, the enterprise must accumulate knowledge and skills by themselves to act to seize the chance which will always escaped rapidly. More and more enterprise make full use of external knowledge and skills to realize product and service innovation, so the knowledge absorptive capacity is becoming the key factor of many enterprises when they want to identify the market chance and use the latest technology.This dissertation is based on the four dimensions of knowledge absorptive capacity, such as acquisition,assimilation,transformation and exploitation and build the internal evolvement model of knowledge absorptive capacity by constructing two potential intermediate variable, including potential absorptive capacity and realized absorptive capacity. All data of this paper comes from investigation on Heilongjiang enterprises including software,communication service,project consulting. More than 250 questionnaires were handed out and 191 useful ones were taken back. This dissertation introduces SEM method. Firstly, it will build knowledge absorptive capacity internal evolvement model, then validate its effectives and credulity,build model test index system and modify the model closely according to SEM methods and procedures, then we decide the model eventually.By testing the model hypothesis, we find that the result is not consistent with the theory. Among the enterprise investigated, the effect that the knowledge acquisition capacity of these enterprises acts on the knowledge absorption capacity is not great, in the meanwhile, the potential absorptive capacity doesn't affect the realized absorptive capacity. These two conclusions contradict the knowledge absorptive theory, but in many enterprises this phenomena really exist. As for the reason, it lies in the reality that many enterprises cannot realize the knowledge absorptive capacity completely and self-R&D capacity is too low, what's more, the external environment may have an effect in a degree. In the end, based on the hypothesis and result analysis, this dissertation presents many solutions to improve our enterprises'knowledge absorptive capacity.
