Study On Chinese A-level Tourist Attraction's Technical Efficiency And Its Influential Factors Based On SFA

Efficiency is an important index to measure the economic effect of an industry.In the tourism industry,efficiency analysis is not only the basis for the sustainable development of tourism enterprises,but also in favor of the competitiveness of the whole industry.The study on the development efficiency of A-level tourist attractions and its influential factors is helpful to find out the differences in the technical efficiency level of A-level tourist attractions in different regions of China,By looking for the causes of these differences and putting forward corresponding Suggestions,we can further promote the development of tourism industry.Based on this,this article combs the literature of tourism industry efficiency research at home and abroad,selects panel data of A-level tourist attractions in 31 provinces of China from 2012 to 2016,uses stochastic frontier analysis method to establish four models,and chooses model results with strong explanatory power to study the level of tourism efficiency and its variation trend of A-level tourist attractions in China,confirms influential factors of efficiency that has been analyzed at the same time.The research results show that,in terms of the efficiency level,the development of A-level tourist attractions in China has the following characteristics:first,the development efficiency of A-level tourist attractions in China is relatively stable,always around 0.78,and capital investment and labor input have promoted the technical efficiency of scenic spots;Second,there is technological progress,and as time goes on,the impact of technological progress on the efficiency of A-level tourist attractions reduce first and then grow;Third,there are regional differences in the efficiency of A-level tourist attractions in China,coastal areas are obviously lower than non-coastal areas,western and eastern regions are lower than central regions,and southwest,norfthwest,north and northeast regions are lower than east and south regions;Fourth,there are significant differences in the efficiency of A-level tourist attractions between provinces.The highest average efficiency in the sample is 0.9132 in Jiangxi province,and the lowest is 0.331 in Tibet Autonormous Region.After the empirical analysis of the influencing factors,the results show that:per capita GDP and highway density have little influence on the development efficiency of A-level tourist attractions in this province;The technical efficiency of A-level tourist attractions in the central region is higher than that in the eastern and western regions.Administrative units can effectively promote the development of A-level tourist attractions,but after a certain period of development,they will inhibit the efficiency of A-level tourist attractions.Finally,combining the empirical analysis of this article,relevant Suggestions are put forward to promote the development of A-level tourist attractions:on the basis of the law of supply and demand in the tourist market,we should make a scientific overall plan of labor,capital and technical input,standardize entry and exit management mechanism of scenic spots,realize diversified management of scenic spots,and constantly strengthen cooperation with enterprises in the first,second and tertiary industries,in order to improve the development efficiency of A-level tourist attractions in various regions,promote development of tourism in the country,effectively promotes the continuous development of the National Tourism industry.
