| The formation of Taobao village,Taobao town and Taobao village cluster is an important symbol of the development of rural electronic commerce as well as the result of the spread of electronic commerce space.The formation and development of Taobao Village has injected new vitality which profoundly influenced people's production and life.It has become an important force of rural reform and industrial-upgrading transformation.As a new type of rural economic development,Taobao village aroused wide attention of scholars who thus carried out a series of studies.Geography researchers mainly pay attention to the space-time law,formation mechanism and spatial effect of the new economic form.The existing research has carried on a lot of discussion to the rural e-commerce development path,and summed up many models of the agriculture-related e-commerce.Then,how to grasp the geographical law of the rural e-commerce of different development models? Based on this proposition,this paper takes Pingxiang County of Hebei Province as the case area and discusses the following issues:1.Whether the existing agricultural-related e-commerce model can cover the development laws of rural e-commerce and Taobao Village in Pingxiang County,if not,what are the characteristics of the development model of e-commerce in Pingxiang County? 2.In the mode of Pingxiang county,what is the comparison between the spatio-temporal characteristics of Taobao village and its influencing factors with the existing models? 3.Taobao Village,as a new form of e-conomic organization in rural areas,has had an important impact on rural development.How to further refine and quantify the impact?4.What is the significance of the geographical study of county units in exploring the spatio-temporal law of Taobao village on the county scale?One of the three models of agriculture-related e-commerce,"Qinghe Model",has become a successful model of rural e-commerce,and Taobao Village has played a very prominent role in driving rural development.Qinghe County and Pingxiang County belong to Xingtai City,Hebei Province,and their geographical space is near.Thus,The Qinghe model is chosen as the contrast area of rural e-commerce research in Pingxiang County,which has strong comparability.Therefore,the development of Taobao village in two counties iscompared and analyzed,and the temporal and spatial regularity,formation mechanism and regional effect of Taobao village in county under different development paths are discussed.The result shows that,(1)The economic organization models in a large number of traditional villages in Pingxiang County were transformed and upgraded to Taobao Village,and they has formed a unique development model.First of all,the local traditional bicycle and children's car industry has provided a solid material basis for the development of Taobao Village,and has provided sufficient supply support for Taobao online stores.Secondly,the government guides the local villagers to develop e-commerce from the top down,and to support the specialized e-commerce villages,the professional households,and train the leading e-commerce model villages as well as leaders;What's more,through the development of e-commerce,e-commerce poverty alleviation has become one of the important ways to help the poor;finally formed an unique "Internet + industry + government + poverty alleviation" e-commerce model.(2)Taobao Village in Pingxiang County has obvious spatio-temporal development characteristics.From the point of view of time,Taobao village has experienced four development stages: self-organization,government guidance,Taobao village example,Taobao village gathering,showing a "slow growth-rapid growth-steady growth" development trend.The growth rate is fast,and the scope is wide.From the perspective of spatial dimension,Taobao villages first formed as a center,then spread around,and then leapingly developed,and then it turns out a trend of multicenter co-existence,which shows a Taobao village agglomeration in a small-scale and decentralization in a large-scale.Finally,a point-single-multicore-slice distribution pattern is formed in space.(3)Taobao village has a huge economic effect,social effect and spatial effect,and the effect of e-commerce poverty alleviation is remarkable.Of which,in terms of economic effects,Taobao village provides employment opportunities by guiding villagers to set up their own businesses and extending the industrial chain,and helps a large number of poor villagers to find jobs and start businesses,from which they can obtain economic benefits and get out of poverty successfully.In terms of social effects,it has strengthened the local brandconstruction,improved the local infrastructure construction,improved the peasants' production and life style,and helped the countryside get rid of the backward social appearance.In terms of spatial effects,with the transformations of farmers to merchants and village to Taobao village,the production and living space of individual family households and the whole village has been greatly adjusted and reorganized,and part of the living space has been transformed into production space.Production and living space changed from the original mutual independence into mutual blending.(4)Through the comparison between Pingxiang County and Qinghe County Taobao Village,it can be found that with the different economic background,Pingxiang County has formed a top-down pattern while Qinghe County has formed a bottom-up one.However,both of them have experienced three stages of development,namely,initial,fast and steady stage,and the dynamic factors were different in each stage.But they both spread from the center to the round,ending in a small agglomeration while large dispersion pattern.The difference lies in the coexistence of multi-center diffusion in Pingxiang County,which is under the top-down development path,and the spatial distribution shows a point-single-multi-core-slice pattern.And Taobao villages in Qinghe County shows the bottom-up single center diffusion.But in the end,both of them have a great influence on economic benefits,industrial chain extension,employment and entrepreneurship,improvement of infrastructure,improvement of people's livelihood and other aspects. |
