The Formation Mechanism Of Taobao Village In Undeveloped Rural Areas

Specialized villages play an important role in promoting rural economy,which is an important breakthrough point to solve poverty in rural areas,to promote urban-rural integration and development,and to realize industrial prosperity.In recent years,with the continuous development of information technology and the rapid popularization of the Internet in rural areas,the rapid development of rural e-commerce has led to the upgrading of rural industries,the labor return and the comprehensive management of rural areas,which provides a good way of thinking for the revitalization of the countryside.Taobao Village(TBV),as a new specialized village,has developed vigorously in China in recent years,and has become an important engine of rural revitalization.The phenomenon of TBV has attracted the attention of many scholars and carried out relevant researches;However,as a fast-growing emerging thing,most of the current researches focus on the cases that study TBV in the eastern region,the formation of a single type of TBV and the analysis of the spatial layout of TBV,lacking of multi-scale and multi-perspective comprehensive researches and the micro-scale depth of farmers.This study focuses on TBV in the less developed rural area and takes Henan province as the main case area to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics and the causes of the formation of TBV.Exploring the mechanism of the formation of TBV,and establishing the formation and evolution model of TBV.In order to further analyze the phenomenon of e-commercial famers' agglomeration,this paper makes a breakthrough in the study of farmers' technology choice,and analyzes the influencing factors of agglomeration through the Logistic model.Combining qualitative researches with quantitative analysis this study selects different types of TBV cases to further verify,and finally puts forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures combined with field investigation.This paper draws the following conclusions:(1)TBV has a centralized "point-axis" distribution,with obvious traffic,economic,and administrative spatial interface effects.By the end of 2018,50 TBV in Henan Province are mainly distributed in western Henan,Zhengzhou and Luoyang as the core,"Anyang-Zhengzhou-Nanyang" as the Spindle of the axial banded distribution.The central geographical distribution of the circular island around Zhengzhou is formed across the five cities and spatial interfacial effect is prominent.TBV is mainly distributed on the traffic boundary and economic boundary where the factors flow frequently,and the distribution characteristics of administrative boundaries are also obvious.Regional farmers have rich experience in external contacts to promote the introduction and diffusion of new e-commerce technologies.TBV in less-developed rural areas have the characteristics of "late starting and fast development".Although the second industry is the main type of their industry styles,most of them are based on agricultural product-processing or agricultural tool-manufacturing which depend on the upgrading of the primary industry.(2)During the formation of TBV,the main influencing factors are professional production,the ability of entrepreneurship,supporting basic measures and institutional practices,which put forward the initial dynamic mode of “Able Person + Requirement”.That is,the professional advantage of the region can be accumulated after a long term.On the one hand,able persons promote the formation of TBV when professional advantage encounters market bottleneck in the long-term development process;on the other hand,by discovering the potential demand of the market,able persons quickly promote the formation of regional characteristic industries with the help of resource endowments and late-comer advantages.Able persons' purpose is to develop the industry and the Internet e-commerce simultaneously to form TBV.Different from the formation of professional villages,the villagers who have been working or studying outside for a long time and the rural entrepreneurial new able people with local feelings have become the core key to the formation of TBV.The supporting measures formed by TBV are not limited to the basic needs of transportation,water and electricity,but are dynamically updated in the diffusion of e-commerce technology and industrial upgrading,which requires more external outside force(market regulation and government catalysis).(3)The formation of TBV contains the regional farmers' choice for the new technology of e-commerce in essence.Through empirical analysis,it is found that farmers' e-commerce choice behavior is the result of multiple factors.Among the factors,the age of farmers,the education level,and the number of people knowing in the village have a significant impact on farmers' choice of e-commerce management.Women's adoption of e-commerce and leading for decision-making begin to emerge.The older farmers are,the less educated they are,and the less people they know,the less easy it is to adopt e-commerce technology.In addition,the previous understanding of e-commerce and social network(the number of household labor)also has a positive impact on the choice of e-commerce.(4)The formation of TBV has gone through three stages.In addition to technology introduction and technology diffusion,TBV contains the important stage of upgrading and merging of industry and e-commerce technology.In the process of technology diffusion,social networks plays an important role,and government support and traditional atmosphere affect the speed of proliferation.With the spread of e-commerce technology,e-commerce practitioners are gradually separating from the producers.In the process of e-commerce development,the formation of industrial upgrading and deepening division of the labor were promoted,and the environmental improvement of the village was brought about.The cumulative effect of circulation brought about the revitalization of the village in the formation of TBV.
