A Research On Risk Assessment And Response Of Enterprise Supply Chain Under Cross-border E-Commerce Environment

Cross-border e-commerce as a new form of trade continues to develop at a high speed in recent years.Nowadays,it gradually becomes a heat conductor to the financing both at home and abroad and it can also revitalize the global economy.Moreover,as an important content of achieving China's high-quality development,cross-border e-commerce features flexible business models,rapid evolution,restructuring circulation,transaction cost-saving and improving efficiency.These advantages might push it forward to become a main form of global trade.However,as an emerging thing,cross-border e-commerce progressively steps into the fast lane of development.Meanwhile,it is facing with some inevitable problems:in the cross-national trade,due to the differences existed in the various countries and areas*development environments and policy preferences,it can be difficult to handle once disputes happen;based on virtual network,there are no physical stores to guarantee the transactions,thus the occurrence of information asymmetry always happens.At the same time,the development of cross-border logistics,cross-border payment and other cross-border e-commerce service systems are lagging behind,the number of well-known cross-border e-commerce enterprises are insufficient,and the development of industrial innovation is slow,these disadvantages are increasingly becoming an obstacle to the sustainable development of cross-border e-commerce in China.Therefore,a comprehensive analysis of the potential risks in the cross-border e-commerce supply chain and come up with effective solutions,make breakthroughs on the development of enterprises will drive and upgrade the quality improvement of China's e-commerce industry maximumly.This thesis is on the foundation of the current researches from home and abroad,guided by the theories of cross-border e-commerce,supply chain management and risk management.By taking the cross-border e-commerce enterprises as the research object,the present author comprehensively analyzed that under the cross-border e-commerce environment,the risk factors which might faced by the enterprises'supply chain.Firstly,a qualitative research was started on the basis of Grounded Theory,the potential risk factors in cross-border import retail e-commerce supply chain which including the risks of purchasers and suppliers,logistics and customs,online transactions,management and running businesses,laws and regulations and the risks of international business environment can be accurately identified.Then the present author constructed a theoretical model of supply chain risk factors evaluation with the help of Structural Equation Model(SEM)and proposed the research hypotheses.As for the empirical part,the author adopted questionnaire survey method to collect questionnaires all over the country which 221 are valid,and after analyzing the reliability and validity of the sample data,the structural equation modeling software AMOS fitted and revised the model hypothesis.Finally,the risk factors'functions to cross-border e-commerce supply chain and the risk-preventing solutions can be concluded according to it.The result reveals that the international business environment and management operation risk have the greatest impact on cross-border e-commerce supply chain,while the international business environment risk indirectly increases the supply chain risk by acting on other risks,laws and regulations affect the operation of cross-border e-commerce supply chain indirectly only through online transaction risk,while procurement and supply links have no significant impact on cross-border e-commerce supply chain.In accordance with the results,this research is proved to present that cross-border import retail e-commerce enterprises should follow and strengthen the idea of the risk management on the supply chain,create the risk management model and improve the risk-preventing solutions and skills.The specific measures should be adopted no matter it is active or conservative.In order to minimizing the risk damages and achieving the economic benefit to its maximum,the enterprises will have stable and smooth growth,the e-commerce industry can be guided to have a leap-forward evolution.
