China once possessed world-leading science and technology,which is an important part of Chinese traditional culture.Judging from the history of human social development,technology and civilization determine a country's status and reputation in the world.Spreading and inheriting a country's traditional scientific and technological culture and its scientific spirit is of great significance for improving the country's cultural soft power and strengthening national cultural self-confidence.However,many traditional science and technologies have long been lost or are disappearing with the changing times and the progressing science and technology.Therefore,under the background of the new era,how to better spread and inherit these traditional scientific and technological culture is a very urgent and arduous realistic issue that we are facing now.At present,we are in an era of rapid development of information technology.In the global,electronic information network communication technology is developing rapidly,and people's ability to acquire knowledge and information is greatly enhanced.Especially with the emergence and development of the mobile internet,which is simpler and more convenient to operate,more and more people choose to implement activities such as study,work,leisure and entertainment on the mobile internet,and the relevant construction of various mobile network information resources are booming.The gamification mechanism,known for its popularity and immersive experience,is widely used in various fields,such as science popularization,education,management,and operation by means of mobile internet technology.As a new type of media,video games have generated a cultural force that swept the world,which can not be underestimated.Based on the above research background,this paper mainly studies how gamification mechanism is used to spread the Chinese traditional science and technology culture in the contemporary era and tries to summarize the creation rules of gamification resources with the following research methods:literature research method,comparative research method,questionnaire survey method and case analysis method,thus providing a reference for the implementation of relevant science resources in the new environment.This paper first analyzes the theory and operating mechanism of gamification,interprets the reasons for the rise of games and gamification,analyzes how games are used as a medium in the field of communication,and illuminates the general strategy of gamification system planning and design.Then,by using the front-end analysis method proposed by J.Harless,this paper analyzes how the gamification method is used to spread the traditional Chinese science and technology culture from the following three aspects:learning needs,learning content and learner characteristics.In addition,based on the previous research,the paper also elaborates the detailed implementation process of the game "Tenon-and-mortise Craft"”.Finally,it summarizes the main contributions of this research,and foresees the deficiencies in the popularization of traditional science and technology culture through gamification and outlooks the direction of further researches.In modern times,the game is considered as a vivid carrier of cultural confidence and cultural consciousness,as well as the inheritance and innovation of the culture essence of Chinese traditional science and technology,it is not only beneficial to the transformation of creative and innovative development of science and technology,but also conducive to give full play to the positive role of game,to show its social application value,stretching out more knowledge to the positive function.lt is not only necessary for Chinese traditional science and technology to enhance its own value and expand popular science channels,but also necessary for large mobile user groups to enjoy cultural leisure and for mobile games to enhance their own cultural heritage.To sum up,this paper research can be taken as a kind of active exploration of the popular science practice of Chinese traditional science and technology and the healthy development of mobile games.
