With the development of science and technology, people's work and life are more and more inseparable from mobile communication technology.Employees are increasingly involved in work or contacting colleagues through portable communication devices during non-working hours. This phenomenon has attracted the attention of many scholars. For a long time, scholars have focused on the positive effects of this phenomenon on the work field and the negative effects on the family field(for example, increasing work-family conflicts, reducing happiness and improving work efficiency). However,in recent years,as the negative consequences of the organization's abuse of this behavior on the work field have gradually become apparent, impact of work connectivity behavior after-hours on the work field. In particular,it affects the individual's negative emotional attitude related to work.Empirical studies have shown that the negative emotional experiences associated with work can have study the mechanism of negative emotional experiences associated with work caused by work connectivity behavior after-hours.After reviewing and combing the literature,it is found that work connectivity behavior after-hours is a kind of work event that extends the individual's work time and increases the intensity of work.It may occupy the resources that the individual originally applied to the family field to invest in the work field. It is easy to cause individuals to produce psychological states that are subject to work.Emotional event theory holds that the negative emotional attitude of employees is mostly caused by negative work events. Therefore, based on the theory of emotional events, this study explores the effects of negative work events(work connectivity behavior after-hours)on negative emotional attitudes(work alienation)experienced by individuals. In addition, work connectivity behavior after-hours increases the working hours, increases the workload, and imposes higher work requirements on employees. These additional work role expectations are not only inconsistent with the employee's own work role expectations. It can also lead to situations in which employees have conflicting work and family role expectations.Previous studies have shown that there is a positive correlation between employee role conflict and work alienation. Therefore, this study believes that role conflict plays an intermediary role between work connectivity behavior after-hours and work alienation. In addition, affective events theory think that personality traits or situational factors may play a regulatory effect between work events and emotional attitude responses.Role conflict is a kind of negative work event that individuals often experience. Its impact on individual job alienation may vary depending on individual characteristics, such as the degree of confidence that individuals effectively regulate negative emotional states. Therefore, this study believes that perceived self-efficacy in managing negative affect can regulate the positive relationship between role conflict and work alienation.Through the questionnaire survey method, this study collected 513 valid questionnaires from employees in Guangxi,Guangdong and other places, and used AMOS 21.0 and SPSS21.0 to analyze the survey data:Firstly, the reliability of the test scale was analyzed by Cronbach's analysis.Secondly,Harman single factor test is used to exclude the interference of the deviation of the common method;Thirdly, verification factor analysis is used to test the validity of distinction between constructs; Finally, the hypothesis of this study is tested by hierarchical regression analysis.Through the above statistical analysis, the conclusion is as follows:First, the non-working time work connection behavior has a positive effect on the working alienation of employees;Second, role conflict plays an intermediary role between non-working time work connectivity behavior and employee work alienation.Third, the employee's negative emotion management self-efficacy plays a moderating role in the positive influence of role conflict on job alienation.Specifically, when the employee's negative emotional management self-efficacy is higher, the employee's role conflict is less likely to arouse the sense of job alienation. This paper discusses mediation effects of role conflict and moderation effects of perceived self-efficacy in managing negative affect. In the end,the future research direction of work connectivity behavior after-hours is forecasted.
