Research On Coupling And Coordination Of Technological Innovation And Foreign Trade

In today's world of economic globalization,the development of foreign trade has become an important part of the economic development of all countries.All countries in the world are actively integrating into the environment of economic globalization to find their own development space and seek sustainable economic development.Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China's foreign trade has achieved sustained and rapid development and become the world's largest trading nation.At the same time,due to the mutual promotion and complementarity of technological innovation and foreign trade,the level of technological innovation has also been improved in the process of foreign trade development,achieving the coordinated development of foreign trade and technological innovation.This paper analyzes the coupling relationship between technological innovation and foreign trade through the combination of theory and empirical analysis.In the measurement of technological innovation level,the three index systems of R&D investment,achievement generation and marketization are constructed from the perspective of innovation chain;three index systems of trade scale,trade structure and trade competitiveness are constructed on the level of foreign trade.By establishing the coupling model and selecting the statistical data of30 provinces and cities in 2006-2015,based on the entropy method,the coupling and coordination relationship between technological innovation and foreign trade are analyzed under the innovation chain from the perspective of time,region and space-time to find out the degree of coupling and coordination of technological innovation and foreign trade.The study finds that China's technological innovation is closely related to foreign trade,and the degree of coupling coordination between the two is increasing with time while still being in the primary coordination stage.There is a big difference between the regions.The coordination degree is higher than that of the central and western regions;in addition,the coupling and coordination degree between the R&D investment phase and foreign trade is higher than that of achievement generation and marketization in time and space.And from the perspective of spatial evolution,the coupling and coordination between the two stages of the achievement transformation and foreign trade,marketization and foreign trade have the characteristics of spreading from the eastern coastal areas to the surrounding areas.Finally,policy recommendations should be taken as the follows: to promote innovation by export;to make full use of the spatial radiation effect of the eastern coastal areas;to rely on developed areas to drive the technological innovation and foreign trade development of backward areas;to adapt to local conditions and environment;to pay attention to the quality and efficiency of technological innovation.
