High and new technology represents the future development direction of technology and industry,and it also plays an important role in regional economic growth as well as industrial upgrading and regional innovation.However,under the background of informatization and networking,the innovative environment faced by actors in high-tech fields is becoming more and more complex,seeking innovative resources from outside is becoming more and more urgent,because of these,cooperative innovation has become an important form of innovation in high-tech fields.Based on the data of the collaborative application for patents by the SIPO in China’s high-tech fields from 2001 to 2015,the innovation cooperation network in China’s high-tech fields is constructed based on the theory of complex network.The evolution characteristics of innovation cooperation network in China’s high-tech field are analyzed by using social network analysis method and GIS spatial analysis method;by extending the BA scale-free network evolution model,the simulation model of innovation network evolution is constructed based on the three combinatorial optimal connection mechanisms of innovation ability,centrality and geographical distance,the extended evolutionary model takes into account the new cooperative relationship between the new innovators and the original network innovators as well as the rebuilding and the breaking partnership of the original innovators,based on this evolutionary model,the evolutionary mechanism of innovation cooperation network in China’s high-tech field is empirically studied.The results show that:(1)The network of innovation cooperation in China’s high-tech fields has a larger scale of innovation subjects and a larger total number of innovation cooperation relationships,the innovators of innovation network has gone through the evolution from university,private enterprise and research institute to private enterprise and state-owned enterprise,the development of innovation network has evolved from a large number of weak cooperative relationships established between new innovators to a high-intensity cooperative relationship established again by original innovators who have stable cooperative relationships.(2)The innovation cooperation network in China’s high-tech field has remarkable scale-free network characteristics,and the innovation cooperation network has a significant spatial differences,the triangle structure is the basic organizational unit for the growth of innovation network in China’s high-tech fields,the innovation network consists of the rudimentary triangle structure of the Yangtze River Delta,Beijing-Tianjin and Pearl River Delta,which has evolved into a rhombic spatial structure of Beijing-Tianjin,Yangtze River Delta,Pearl River Delta and Chengdu-Chongqing.(3)The spatial distribution of innovation subjects in China’s hi-tech innovation network shows significant agglomeration characteristics and spatial differences,from scattered massive agglomeration to continuous agglomeration.with the development of innovation network,the cooperative spatial scale on which innovators rely has changed from the dominance of the same city cooperation to the co-dominance of the same city and cross-provincial cooperation,private enterprises and state-owned enterprises are the type of partners that most innovators tend to choose.(4)Geographical distance preference plays a less and less important role in promoting the evolution of innovation networks while innovation capability preference plays a more and more important role in evolution the development of innovation networks and the centralized preference has a stable and slightly increasing effect on the evolution of innovation networks.Geographical distance selection and centrality selection are the main driving forces in the first stage of innovation network,the second stage of innovation network development is dominated by geographical distance selection,centrality selection and innovation capability selection,the third stage of innovation network development is dominated by the selection of center and innovation ability.
