With the advent of knowledge economic era,to search for a survival and development under the technological changing and competitive market environment,it has become an inevitable trend for any enterprise to cooperate with external organizations and accomplish technology innovation.Through the technology innovation networks providing valuable resources and information,some companies achieved remarkable results of technologicai innovation in the aspects as strategy,technology,economic returns and risk control etc.However,its instability and high failure rate has been a chronic obstacle to hinder technological innovation networks more successf,ul.Therefore,it is of great importance for technological advancements and economic development to explore how to promote the efficiency of technological innovation network operation.As the basis element of the network behavior,network routines are identified as the core elements to maintain and coorcdinate the technological innovation network.Sch olars have paid attention to the important role of network routines,and its influence in creating and maintaining the inter-organization relationship,improving governance pattern etc.Scholars also point out that network routines do good to reduce the high failure rate of technological innovation network an d maintain its stability.Along with the formation of the network organization,the network routines can be considered to the behavior pattern and norm consensus in network member cooperation.But there are few studies on this subject,especially in the network routines evolution,lack of theoretical system framework,far lagging from the needs of practice development.Thus,to make full use of the technological innovation network,a kind of competitive organization mode,in the cooperation of globalization competition,it must be strengthened the research of network routines evolution.This paper aimed to explore the evolution of technology innovation network practices.First,based on the systematic comb pertinent literature,the paper deeply analyzes the concepts,character istics and constitutional practice of technology innovation network,and explores the internal and external dynamic factors for the evolution of technology innovation network routines,during which the internal factors can be further differentiate between the levels of organization and intra-organizations.Secondly,with regard to the actual content of the interview survey,this paper integrates exploratory factor analysis,exploring factors of dynamic evolution of technology innovation network routines,and confirmatory factor analysis,summaring the dynamic evolution factors of technology innovation network routines.Finally,the paper gives a theoretical analysis of evolution mechanism and phase for technology innovation network routines,then constructs mathematical models and taking a simulation method to verify technology innovation networks routines evolution.This article's innovation achievements mainly reflect in:First of all,we extend the routines theory from the organization level to the network level,and give the norm describes of technological innovation network routines.The extant research have paid attention to the important role of network routines in the cooperation innovation and the network operation,but the research achievement are scarce and dispersion,and has not formed a system theory framework.Therefore,Base on the resource dependence and loose coupling essence,this paper defines the conception of technological innovation network routines,analysis and identification of attributive character of technological innovation network routines,then explore and discriminate the dynamic evolution factors of technological innovation network routines:adaptive learning,following preference,and the network environment change.Among them,adaptive learning is a way of learning,which is more focused on the network members' own initiative as well as the environmental adaptability.Intra-behavior follow preferences refer to behaviors between the conditional probability,that is to say that when behavior A occurs,Intra-behavior follow preferences mean the subsequent probability of behavior B.if the probability of behavior B follows A is bigger,the "A-B1"behavior path is easier formed.Parallelly,if inter-behaviors in network organizations obviously follow the preferences,then the network behavior set is easier to form a stable set of action sequences combination,and then make the network routines to stabilize.It contribute to interpretation technological innovation network routines theory more clear and system,and important to develop the research of routines.It's a new angle of view of the technological innovation study,and also has established the theoretical basis of this paper.Secondly,according to the Symbolic Interaction Theory,this paper reveals evolution mechanism of technological innovation network routines.Based on different purposes and perspectives,the extant research has illustrated the formation of network routines,but the correlational studies has scattered in a large number of literature.Pertinent research results is relatively rare,and failure to recognize the inherent law of the network routines formation,it is difficult to guide the technological innovation network efficiently operation from theoretical.Combines with the Symbolic Interaction Theory,this paper comes forward the evolution mechanism and phase of technology innovation network routines.The main idea of symbolic interaction theory is that a participant keeps in line with other participants to predict their behavior mode,and then make the most appropriate behavior mode according to forecast results.So network members can understand the meaning of other organizational routines,predict the behavior of the specific implementation surface for other organizational routines of organization under the guidance of the practice surface.The evolution of technological innovation network routines has concluded three main stage:a stable forming stage,an endogenous changing stage,a choosing and reservation stage.Findings will further improve the relative theory of cooperative innovation,and have great significance in improving networks,cooperation performance,guiding enterprises' cooperative behavior,and regulating of inter-organizational relations.Furthermore,this paper applies a simulation method to research the mechanism of the technological innovation network routines evolution,which helps to break the constraint of the extant routines qualitative research.This paper uses Matlab7.0 to simulate the technology innovation network mathematical model.First of all,the paper takes stable network routines evolutionarily results into whole consideration.Secondly,the paper respectively explores the influence of adaptive learning,following preference,and the network environment change on the evolution of technological innovation network routines?Our findings reveal that with the increasing size of the network,the evolutionary stability of network routines is more slowly;while the network environment goes faster,technological innovation network routines change more differently,and when broking a certain value,the level of change in technology innovation network routines may suddenly increase.Whereas,with the increase of network size,the influence of the network environment then gradually weakened.Intra-behavior follow preferences help to keep network routines stable,and has an optimal value,which stands for a best rate to improve network routines evolution steady.Adaptive learning contributes to improve the steady speed of technological innovation network routines evolution.Our research provides a systematic comb to the formation mechanism of the network routines,and helps to give a in-depth grasp of the inherent laws of technological innovation network operation from the perspective of routines.Finally,this paper provides a macroscopic study on network routines combined with the morphology evolution of technological innovation network.Along with the formation of networked organization,network routines are formed,which means a behavior mode and norms consensus about how network members keep in cooperation.This paper use Ucinet 6.0 software to explore the network morphology based on the 3-stage evolution of network routines.Our findings suggest that during the stable forming stage,it has a uniform dense network diagram with a lower level,but has not a certain behavior mode.That is to say the network do not exist a particularly advantageous effect or leadership,and members attain a preliminary consensus.In the endogenous changing stage,the network turns to a loose and uneven distribution construction with a hierarchy but weakly concentrated morphology.At last,leading innovation behavior becomes formed in the network,but only few members accepted and replicated the mode,evolving into the inner circle,and then via the initial replication to expanse the scope of network routines.However,because of the interaction is not enough,this copy mode is not wide enough to be accepted or expanded.When it goes into the choosing and reservation stage,network morphology is featured by an intermediate dense,loose edge,high level state,and eventually forms the core circle.Leadership innovation behavior model has been widely recognized and accepted by network members,choose to keep a wide range of copying,making the distribution of network routines has a core ring and a edge,which may be a good reason to explain why network routines can keep steady but do not lack of diversity.This network morphology,a best state to keep network routines reservation,not only helps to keep a stable and efficient operation of the network,but also contributes to maintain network innovative.Our finding contributes to deeply explain the dynamic evolution mechanism of technology innovation network routines.Overall,this paper makes up the insufficient of the extant research,enrich and expand the theoretical research of the routines and technological innovation network.In practice,it also contributes to guide the enterprise cooperation innovation behavior in network,enhance the understanding of technological innovation network operation rule.
