With the promotion of the times,the new generation staff are constantly pouring into the workplace,becoming the main force of enterprise development.How to mobilize the enthusiasm of this new generation of employees,let them grow faster has become a high-profile topic in the management field.There have been many research literatures pointing out that the behaviors,ways of thinking,and growth rate of employees' work are closely related to management's leadership style and leadership style.Therefore,it is important to study the influence of the mental leadership perceived by the new generation of employees on their career growth.Spiritual leadership is an emerging product born in modern society.As a new type of leadership,it is no longer limited to the external manifestation of leadership management.Instead,it starts from internal motivation and puts more management attention on the employee's spiritual needs,through the establishment and delivery of the vision within the organization,enable employees to personally feel the organization's goals and concerns,thereby motivate employees to grow and promote organizational growth.Previous studies on the influence mechanism of leadership behavior on employee behavior suggest that leadership behavior does not directly affect employee behavior,but indirectly affects employee behavior through employee's internal psychological and cognitive state.Therefore,we believe that organizational identity may play an important role in the relationship between spiritual leadership and career growth.To study the relationship between spiritual leadership and its three dimensions on the career growth of new generation employees and its four dimensions,and to explore the mediating role of organizational identity in the relationship between spiritual leadership and career growth.This study combs the theoretical research related to spiritual leadership,organizational identity and career growth,and starts from the characteristics of the new generation of employees,combined with China's national conditions,explores the internal relationship between the three.This paper mainly uses the questionnaire survey method for data collection.The main subjects of the survey are Internet companies from Nanjing,Suzhou and Wuxi.This paper obtains 253 research data through questionnaire survey.The reliability and validity of the data are analyzed by SPSS and AMOS software,and the multiple linear regression analysis is carried out.The results show that:(1)Spiritual leadership has a significant positive impact on the organizational identity,career growth and its four second-order factors(career goal progress,career competence development,job promotion and pay growth)of the new generation;(2)According to the study of dimension division,the three-dimensional degree of vision,hope/faith and altruistic love under the spiritual leadership has a significant positive impact on career growth and its four dimensions;(3)Organizational identity has a significant positive impact on the career growth of new generation employees,and plays a part of intermediary role in the relationship between spiritual leadership and career growth of new generation employees.The conclusions of this study enrich the research field of leadership behavior,and provide a new support path for the management and development of the career growth of new generation employees.Finally,combined with the conclusions of this study,this paper puts forward some management suggestions for the career growth of new generation employees,points out the shortcomings of this study,and looks forward to the future research direction.
