| As an important part of China’s light industry,the furniture industry has gradually developed into a pillar industry in China.The development of the furniture industry,structural changes and regional layout are related to the adjustment of the entire industrial structure.China’s furniture industry is shifting from a traditional labor-intensive industry to a technology-intensive and capital-intensive industry.However,in the process of transformation,inter-regional development has produced great differences,meanwhile unreasonable industrial layout and geographical distribution of enterprises have emerged,which has made it difficult for China’s furniture industry to achieve its optimal production capacity.Promoting the balanced development of China’s furniture industry has become the primary task in the process of optimizing and transforming the furniture industry.Scientifically measure the regional differences in China’s furniture industry,analyze the spatial evolution of the furniture industry,and provide evidence and recommendations for promoting the balanced development of China’s furniture industry.The spatial evolution of the Chinese furniture industry refers to the distribution and conversion of the furniture industry in the spatial dimension of the furniture industry.Focusing on the spatial evolution of China’s furniture industry,this paper selects the Theil index as a measure of regional differences from the perspective of regional differences.The spatial evolution of the Chinese furniture industry is studied based on the Theil index method.The theory of industrial evolution was used to promote the balanced development of China’s furniture industry.Based on the comparison of regional difference measure methods,this paper constructs the Theil index method model to measure the regional differences of China’s furniture industry.According to the Regional Coordination Strategy Development Report,the administrative region of China was divided into eight economic zones.Estimate the overall differences in the Chinese furniture industry and the intra-regional differences and inter-regional differences in the eight economic zones.In order to seek the source of the difference,the contribution rate of difference between regions and regions was measured.The Markov model was used to predict and analyze the regional differences in the Chinese furniture industry.Combining the development status of China’s furniture industry,assessing the regional differences in China’s furniture industry and proposing reasonable development proposals.The results show that the regional differences in China’s furniture industry are gradually decreasing,and the intra-regional differences and inter-regional differences are also declining.From the calculation results of regional difference contribution rate,it is found that the regional differences in China’s furniture industry have gradually evolved from "interval differences"to"intra-regional differences".This leads to the three stages of the development in China’s furniture industry:from 2004 to 2008,it was the "initial period",and the single region(south coastal economic zone)dominated the development of China’s furniture industry.During this period,the evolution of the furniture industry was "Northward shift".From 2009 to 2012,it was the "development period".The rapid development of the central and eastern economic zones led to an increase in its dominant position in the Chinese furniture industry.The evolutionary path of this period was "central gathering".From 2013 to 2015,it was a"diversified development period".The furniture industry in many economic zones has developed well.The contribution rates of different economic zones are similar.The contribution rate of the western region continues to rise.The evolution path is "westward expansion".Using the Markov model to predict the regional differences in the Chinese furniture industry,it is found that the overall differences in the furniture industry will fluctuate within a small range,while the differences within and between regions will continue to decline.According to the results of the calculation and analysis,the countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the balanced development of the furniture industry are proposed. |
