Radical Or Steady:An Investigation Of The Financial Behavior Of Military Entrepreneurs

In recent years,military entrepreneurs,as a special group,have attracted extensive attention from the society and media.Military entrepreneurs refer to the veterans who transferred from the battlefield to the business circle.They share the same military background and have acquired some special psychological characteristics under the influence of military experience,which will affect their subsequent operation and management of the company,resulting in the unique characteristics of financial behavior of the company they are in charge of.This paper takes RiseSun development and its chairman,GengJianming,as research objects to examine the company's financial behavior under the military experience.Firstly,this article introduces the general situation of RiseSun development and the military experience of its founder GengJianming,and summarizes the military characteristics of GengJianming.Then,it examines the company's financial strategy under the military experience.In this part,on the one hand,referring to the previous research methods,this thesis constructs a discrete variable to measure corporate strategy,and determines the type of corporate strategy;on the other hand,it analyzes the four aspects of financing strategy,investment strategy,working capital strategy and income distribution strategy,and draws the company's financial strategy model.Finally,from the strategic level to the specific behavioral level,this paper discusses the company's investment behavior and debt behavior under the military experience.Through research,this paper finds that the company's financial action under the military experience shows radical characteristics.First,the company's strategy is more aggressive;Second,the company's financial strategy model is characterized by aggressive and rapid expansion.Third,the company's investment behavior presents aggressive intension,and debt behavior exhibits the type of aggressive high-risk preference.The findings of this paper show that,influenced by the military experience,military entrepreneurs have formed excellent psychological endurance and full confidence and prefer high risks,which are reflected in their radical financial behavior.
