Dynamic Evaluation Of Competitiveness Of High-Star Hotels In Chinaand Its Spatial And Temporal Study

With the growth of China's national economy and the improvement of its international status,China's hotel industry has achieved unprecedented development.High-star hotels,which are an important part of the hotel industry,have also achieved considerable development.Based on the development status of high-star hotels in China,combined with the theory of competitive advantage,industrial competitiveness and evolutionary economics,this paper constructed an evaluation index system for the competitiveness of provincial high-star hotels,and used the factor analysis method to dynamically evaluate provincial high stars and study their temporal and spatial evolution characteristics.This paper have selected the relevant statistics of China's tourism statistics in the period of 2008-2017,and used the factor analysis method to dynamically evaluate the competitiveness of provincial high-star hotels.Then,by calculating the Theil index and coefficient of variation of the competitiveness score,the competitiveness of provincial high-star hotels is made.The difference analysis was carried out,and then the ARCGIS related modules were used to map the spatial and temporal distribution of the competitiveness of provincial high-star hotels,and the temporal and spatial evolution of the competitiveness of high-star hotels in China's provinces was further explored.Through research on the development of high-star hotels in China's provinces in the past decade,it is found that the most competitive in 2008 are Beijing,Shanghai,Zhejiang,Guangdong and Jiangsu.The more competitive provinces and cities are Hainan,Shandong,Sichuan,Yunnan,Liaoning and Anhui,the weaker provinces and cities are Chongqing,Tianjin,Fujian,Shaanxi,Jiangxi,Hubei,Shanxi,Hunan,Xinjiang and Heilongjiang.The weakest provinces and cities are Hebei,Jilin,Inner Mongolia,Guizhou,Qinghai,Henan,Guangxi,Gansu,Tibet and Ningxia.The most competitive in 2017 are Beijing,Shanghai,Guangdong,Jiangsu and Zhejiang.The more competitive provinces and cities are Hainan,Shandong,Tianjin,Anhui,Fujian,Chongqing,Sichuan,Yunnan,Shaanxi and In Hunan,the weaker provinces and cities are Inner Mongolia,Heilongjiang,Jiangxi,Hebei,Hubei,Guizhou,Jilin,Henan,Shanxi,Xinjiang and Liaoning.The weakest provinces and cities are Guangxi,Tibet,Qinghai,Gansu and Ningxia.The clustering results also found that the competitiveness of high-star hotels in China's provinces is quite different,and it evolved from the pyramid shape in 2008 to the rugby shape in 2017.Temporal andspatial evolution studies have found that the competitiveness of China's provincial high-star hotels is generally on the rise,and the east is higher than the west,the south is higher than the north,the coastal provinces are higher than the inland provinces and the economically developed provinces are higher than the underdeveloped provinces.At the same time,the competitiveness of China's provincial high-star hotels has shifted,and the direction of the offset is from the southeast to the northwest.
