Business venture is a hot topic in recent years,and with the encouragement and support of national policies for starting up business,there are an increasing number of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs engaging in innovative entrepreneurship.However,in the face of changes of the external environment and internal defects of small and medium-sized enterprises,most entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises enterprises are facing many difficulties in entrepreneurship transformation.How to solve the problem of transformation and development of entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises is an urgent problem to be studied.Based on the description of the characteristics and difficulties of the entrepreneurial transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises,this paper analyzes the sources,types,identification,evaluation and utilization of business opportunities,and focuses on the study of the business opportunities,transformation motivation,path selection and risk control of the entrepreneurial transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises;and analyses the differences between survival-type and opportunity-type business opportunities in identification,evaluation and development;in the selection of transformation path,enterprises should pay more attention to the prevention of transformation risks and the choice of transformation strategies based on the characteristics of weak anti-risk ability of small and medium-sized enterprises.This paper uncovers the close relation between business opportunity management and the entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises transformation by carrying out analysis on the correlation of entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises transformation focus as well as business opportunity management with transformation management.From the perspective of business opportunity management,this paper establishes transformation management framework for entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises,and emphatically analyzes the contradiction between survival and development,the weak anti-risk ability of small and medium-sized enterprises and high risk of transformation under the conflict of strategic choice of diversification and specialization and limited resources in the process of enterprise transformation.Moreover,this paper proposes the management method for the whole process of selecting enterprise transformation direction,transformation path confirmation and transformation implementation according to the route of identification,evaluation and utilization of business opportunities through combining different types of business opportunities and introducing commercial experiments to realize the purpose of reducing enterprise transformation risk and increasing success rate of enterprise transformation.At the same time,this paper chooses an entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprise which has gone through the whole process of“transformation decision-making,transformation implementation and transformation modification”as a typical case.Through the analysis on the current situation,development process and transformation problems of the enterprise,and from aspects of diversified and professional strategic choice,the choice of survival-type and opportunity-type business opportunities,experiment of business opportunities,and the establishment of business opportunity management mechanism,this paper conducts discussion on the enterprise transformation practice activities.In the end,by utilizing the SWOT analysis and the AHP method,this paper sets up an enterprise balanced scorecard,realizing the quantitative evaluation of the enterprise's transformation performance.In addition to that,through comparing the comprehensive scores of the transformation performance of the enterprise over the years,this paper verifies the theory of the transformation framework of the entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises.Finally,this paper obtains the following conclusions through researches:(1)In the early stage of the transformation of entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises,they should adopt diversified strategies to improve the recognition rate of business opportunities.After verifying the business opportunities implemented due to the transformation,professional strategies should be applied to increase the enterprises competitiveness.(2)Entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises which are in the process of transformation can develop survival-type business opportunities and opportunity-type business opportunities simultaneously to reduce the risk of transformation.(3)Establishing a business opportunity management mechanism and introducing business experiments as well as enterprise balanced scorecards to carry out transformation performance evaluation and feedback can increase the success rate of enterprise transformation.(4)Small and medium-sized enterprises in different industries or in different life cycle stages should adopt different business opportunity management strategies to achieve the control of transformation strategy,transformation direction and transformation risk.
