With the extension of the producer's responsibility system, the manufacturer is not ouly responsible for the production of the product but also responsible for the recycling of the waste electronic products. In the remanufacturing process of a patented product, the manufacturer may choose to remanufacture itself or choose to authorize the remanufacturer for remanufacturing. In the recycling process,it can be recycled through a single channel or through dual-channel.At present, most manufacturing companies recycle through recycling companies, neglecting the close relationship between the consumer and the repair center which can be used as a good recycling medium. The repair center can not only recover used electronic products for a fee,but also obtain removed parts for free. This reduces the cost of recycling.Based on this, how the manufacturer chooses the recycling and remanufacturing mode of the patented product, when considering the repair center as a recycling channel, has become the focus of research. This paper first introduces the L company's treatment of parts obtained free of charge by the maintenance center, and describes the specific concepts in the recycling situation and remanufacturing situation. Then put forward the four recycling and remanufacturing models studied in this paper:the single-channel recycling when manufacturers response for remanufacture, the dual-channel recycling when manufacturers response for remanufacture, the single-channel recycling when remanufacturers response for remanufacture, and dual-channel recycling when remanufacturers response for remanufacture. Then, the method of determining the quantity of parts obtained by the maintenance center for free is proposed, and based on this, the optimal pricing strategy and maximum profit of the manufacturer xrnder the four modes are studied. Then analyze the impact of key factors on manufacturers' pricing decisions and profits..Finally,compare the maximum profit of the manufacturers in the four modes to determine which remanufacturing mode and recycling mode should be choose.Through the research in this paper, the pricing strategies of manufacturers under the four recycling and remanufacturing modes can be obtained at first.Secondly, the study found that:the number of parts that the official repair center received for free only had an impact on the manufacturer's profit, and had no impact on the manufacturer's repurchase price and patent licensing fee. However, the number of parts obtained by the third-party repair center for free will have a significant impact on the manufacturer's profit, repurchase price and unit patent licensing fee. When the third party repair center gets a large number of parts for free, the manufacturer should set a higher repurchase price or lower unit patent licensing fee.In addition,single-channel recycling or dual-channel recycling will also affect the manufacturers repurchase price and unit patent licensing fee.In the case of dual-channel recovery, the manufacturer's repurchase price(without patent authorization)should be higher than that in the case of single-channel recovery. In the case of dual-channel recovery, the manufacturer's unit patent licensing fee(for patent authorization)should be lower than that in the case of single-channel recovery. Finally,by comparing the profit of manufacturers under the four models,we find that:whether the manufacturer licenses the patent or not depends on the relationship between the cost savings of remanufacturing under different modes.According to the different eost saving of remanufacturing, the manufacturer should ehoose different recycling and remanufacturing mode. Each problem needs specific analysis. So at the end of this paper a specific example has be given for analysis and model validation.
