Study On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Modern Agriculture Development In Caofeidian District Of Tangshan City

China is a big country in agriculture and rural areas.Issues relating to agriculture,rural areas,and rural people are fundamental to China as they directly concern our country's stability and our people's wellbeing.General Secretary Xi Jinping first puts forward the strategy of "rural vitalization" in the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China which calls for the adherence to the priority task of agricultural and rural development and the acceleration of the modernization of agricultural and rural areas.It is a major theoretical innovation based on the overall situation,with a long-term perspective and keeping pace with the times under the new historical conditions.The strategy of "rural vitalization" also points out the direction for speeding up the development of modern agriculture and promoting the vitalization of rural areas.The primary task of promoting rural rejuvenation is to develop modern agriculture,which is the certain claim of Xi Jinping's Socialist Thought in leading rural work in the new era.To develop the modern agriculture means to transform the traditional agriculture mode,to continuously advance rural productive forces and shift the mode of agricultural development with the aim of promoting a sound and rapid development of agriculture.Based on the analyses of the development of modern agriculture in Caofeidian district,this paper introduces relevant concepts and theoretical foundation of modern agriculture and expounds the present situation of the development of modern agriculture in Caofeidian district as well as the problems and reasons in the development of modern agriculture in Caofeidian district.Furthermore,by following some advanced examples at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the targets of strategic orientation,spatial layout and industrial orientation of the development of modern agriculture in Caofeidian District and gives a detailed illustration of five measures related to the targets.The first is to raise the level of industrialization development in order to realize the upgrading of agriculture.The second is to strengthen the application of agricultural science and technology so as to promote an efficient development of agriculture.The third is to foster and enlarge new business entities and accelerate agricultural development on a large scale and organization.Fourthly,innovate the agricultural input mechanism to promote agricultural production with high input and efficiency.Last but not least,to accelerate the reform of the management system and to ensure the development of agricultural science through the mechanism innovation.This paper is consisted of four parts.The first part is an introduction which introduces the background resources,research purpose,the significance and methods of the research.It also illustrates the theory and practical experience in the development of modern agriculture at home and abroad.The second part mainly discusses the current status and features of modern agriculture in Caofeidian District.In the third part,it gives a detailed analysis of the problems in the development of modern agriculture in Caofeidian District.Last but not the least,this paper presents some suggestions regarding the current development status on modern agricultural development in Caofeidian District in terms of its industrial orientation,spatial layout and practical measures.
