Business Model Of Warehousing Industry Based On Sharing Economy

The concept of sharing has always existed in our lives,from the exchange of objects in the primitive period to the sharing of music and sharing of books in nowadays After the 2008 financial crisis,the sharing economy attracted the attention of scholars.With the advent of companies,such as Airbnb and Uber,the sharing economy,as a different business model from traditional,has begun step into all kinds of industry.At present,the development of the sharing economy concept in China has been in the golden stage,and various industries have considered the application of the sharing economy concept in the industry.China’s logistics industry is at a stage of rapid development,but there are still many problems,such as high logistics costs,serious energy consumption,low utilization rate of logistics facilities and equipment,and traffic congestion.For solving the current problems existed in the logistics industry,"2017 China Smart Logistics Big Data Development Report" pointed out that smart logistics will become the future development trend,and logistics based on the shared economy is considered to be the development direction of smart logistics.It shows that sharing economy model provides new ideas for the transformation and upgrading of the traditional logistics industry.The warehousing industry is an important part of the logistics industry.Excessive storage cost is the main reason for the high logistics cost in China.The discomfort of the traditional warehousing industry is more and more obvious.Therefore,the storage industry is selected as the research object to study the application of sharing economy in the storage industry from the perspective of business model.On the basis of the reading,study and collection of a large number of literature,related theories of sharing economy,sharing logistics and business model are sorted.Based on these theories,the theory of sharing storage is put forward,including the connotation of sharing storage,sharing storage mode,and sharing storage business model driving factors.Taking all these theories as basis,the comprehensive service platform of the biggest internet storage-storage cloud of the Wulian Cloud is selected as the case of research object.The business model is analyzed from the aspect of the value chain main body,external influencing factors,the Wulian Cloud platform capacity and market benefits,and problems existed in the current the Wulian Cloud are concluded,which provided reference for the establishment of the business model of sharing storageThen,the system dynamics is applied to conduct modeling and simulation research on the business model of the Wulian Cloud.Through simulation,the feasibility of the business model of the Wulian Cloud is verified and the causal relationship among various elements in the system is found out.Based on the simulation results,the key factors affecting the development of the business model of sharing storage are proposed.Finally,taking sharing storage,business models related to sharing economy theory as the theoretical basis,absorbing successful experience of the Wulian Cloud business models and to improving its shortcomings,components and the innovation factors of sharing economy are put forward.Through the integration of the relationship of sharing storage business model elements,eventually the sharing storage business model architecture is established,and corresponding strategies are put forward from the perspective of the value creation,value delivery and value realization mode.
