India Agricultural Support Policies Research

Indian agricultural support policies are a series of specific policies and plans for agriculture adopted by the Indian government in order to promote the development of Indian agriculture.This study focuses on the implementation background,historical evolution,support level and other issues of agricultural support policies in India,and analyzes the issues related to agricultural support policies in India through literature research,qualitative analysis,quantitative analysis and other methods.This paper expounds the general situation of agricultural development in India,economic and social background conditions,and analyzes the formulation and implementation mechanism of agricultural support policies in India.Then,India’s green revolution is taken as the time node to sort out India’s agricultural support policies from before the first green revolution,during the first green revolution and since the second green revolution.This paper systematically summarized the main contents of Indian agricultural support policies,such as land ceiling policy,agricultural research policy,direct interest transfer policy,agricultural market policy and national agricultural insurance plan.In agricultural support policies back to India,on the basis of using the OECD policy analysis system of key support for India’s agricultural support level from producers(PSE),consumer support levels(CSE),the general level of the service support(GSSE)as well as the overall level of support(TSE),analyzes the four dimensions of vertical and horizontal comparison is summarized combining India existence of the positive and negative effects of agricultural support policies.The effect of agricultural support policies in India has left us successful experience,such as attaching great importance to raising farmers’ income,rational use of agricultural land and paying attention to the development of agricultural science and technology.It also provides enlightenment and prospect for the future development of China’s agricultural support policy.We will formulate scientific agricultural support policies,improve the implementation system of agricultural support policies,strengthen support for informatization of agricultural trade,diversify the agricultural production structure,and promote exchanges and cooperation between China and India in agriculture.
