| Laos's "land locked nation" strategy is highly consistent with China's "one belt and one road" initiative,and the fate of the two countries' common development is more closely integrated.In recent years,a number of powerful Chinese-funded enterprises have entered the Lao national market.The investment fields involve mineral resources,hydropower,building materials,trade in services,cultivation and breeding,and the investment methods have also been diversified.Chinese-funded enterprises are also actively involved in labor services and engineering contracting.In December 2016,the Ministry of Commerce of China said that China had become the largest source of foreign investment in labor services and the second largest trading partner,while Laos had become China's third largest investment destination in ASEAN countries.Close cooperation between the two countries was also reflected in infrastructure,human resources,regional and subregional areas.Based on the definition of transnational operation of Chinese-funded enterprises in Laos and the analysis of macro-environment and general situation of transnational operation of foreign-funded enterprises in Laos,this paper makes a thorough analysis of the general situation of transnational operation of Chinese-funded enterprises in Laos,including its development course,industry distribution,location selection and business rules.Then the SWOT analysis method is used to point out the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of Chinese-funded enterprises'transnational operation in Laos,in order to analyze the main strategies of Chinese-funded enterprises'transnational operation in Laos in detail,and then to analyze the existing problems of Chinese-funded enterprises'transnational operation in Laos,and to put forward corresponding reasonable suggestions,hoping that Chinese-funded Enterprises in Laos will have their own advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats.Transnational operation provides theoretical and practical guidance. |
