Research On The Quality Upgrading Of Shandong Exports Of Agricultural Products And Influencing Factors

With the progress of agricultural modernization,people have gradually adopted a series of indicators such as the quality and brand of agricultural products as an important indicator to measure the level of agricultural modernization in a country(region).Especially in the critical period of China's agricultural industrial structure transformation,the key factor that restricts the quality of agricultural products in the industrial structure transformation has not been effectively solved.The importance of the quality of exported agricultural products has been recognized by more and more researchers,and plays an important role in maintaining the balance of foreign trade structure of agricultural products in the region.As a major agricultural product production and trade province in China,Shandong Province ranks first in the country in terms of export volume,accounting for one-fifth of the country's total agricultural exports.Therefore,the import and export of agricultural products plays a vital role in Shandong's economic growth.Then,how to effectively improve the export quality of agricultural products in Shandong Province is of great significance for maintaining the stability of the agricultural product export trade structure of Shandong Province and realizing the sustainable and healthy development of Shandong Province.Based on this,based on the literature review of the quality of export products and the quality of agricultural products exported,this paper analyzes the current status of agricultural exports in Shandong Province,using the measurement method of Khandelwal et al.(2013),and selects the national customs database from 2001 to 2013.The HS8 quintile data measures the export quality of agricultural products in Shandong Province,and combines comparative advantage theory and absolute advantage theory to analyze factors such as economic development level(market size),FDI,local government research investment,scientific research education level,and institutional factors.The mechanism of action on the quality of agricultural exports.Then,this paper further processes the export quality of agricultural products calculated based on the HS8 quantile product code calculated by the national customs database,and averages 24 different kinds of agricultural products as the quality of agricultural products exported by local cities.Indicators,select the five indicators introduced above as explanatory variables,generate provincial panel data for 2001-2013,construct a panel data model,and perform LLC test,ADF test,and PP test on provincial level data to confirm that there is no unit root.Smooth for the same order.Using the systematic GMM estimation method,the results show that the economic development level(market size),FDI,local government research investment,scientific research education level,institutional factors and other indicators have positively promoted the quality of agricultural products in Shandong Province,and passed A significant test.Based on the empirical results,mainly including actively absorbing FDI,strengthening FDI spillover effects,increasing investment in science and technology research and development,cultivating high-tech talents,deepening system reform,providing a good institutional environment,and building and promoting the production of small and medium-sized agricultural products.And several different aspects of the healthy development mechanism of export enterprises,and strive to effectively promote the upgrading of Shandong's export quality from multiple levels and multiple perspectives.
