Study On The Impact Of Agricultural Products Export Trade On The Development Of Agricultural Industry

As a large agricultural country,China's basic position of the agricultural economy cannot be shaken.At present,China's agriculture is in a critical period of economic transformation,The intensive growth and optimization of agricultural industry is the core content of agricultural sustainable development.With the gradual acceleration of the scale and technology of China's agricultural industry,the agricultural industry has not only produced primary agricultural products.On the basis of ensuring food security and the needs of residents,the development of primary processing and intensive processing of agricultural products has become an important support for promoting the sustainable growth of agricultural industry in China.But on the whole,although the scale of China's agricultural industry is large,there are some common problems,such as low rationalization of structure,insufficient depth of processing,and backward technical level.With the continuous progress of the open market and regional economic integration process,the export trade of agricultural products of all countries in the world represents the competitive strength of their own domestic agricultural industry,and the competition in the international market is becoming increasingly fierce.For developing countries participating in the global economy and international division of labor,the implementation of export-oriented strategy is an important strategic choice to promote industrial development and economic growth.As an important supplier of international agricultural products market,China's export scale is becoming larger and larger,and its export quality is continuously rising.The improvement of export trade level not only represents the promotion of international status and the increase of trade benefits,but also represents the competitive advantage with the most advanced technology and experience.And the impact of export trade on the development of agricultural industry has gradually increased.Especially in the current situation of structural deceleration of the agricultural economy and greater uncertainty in the internal and external economic situation,a correct understanding of the impact mechanism of agricultural export trade on the development of agricultural industry will help to form effective policy guidance and maximize the impact of export trade on industry,which is of great significance to the transformation and upgrading of China's agricultural structure.The core theme of this paper is the impact and transmission mechanism of China's agricultural export trade on agricultural industry development.Around this theme,this paper studies the impact of export scale and export quality on industrial scale and industrial structure from the two aspects of "quantity" and "quality" along the way of theoretical analysis,current situation analysis and empirical analysis.Firstly,the theoretical and empirical literature on the impact of export trade on industrial development is systematically reviewed and summarized.On this basis,the scope of the study is basically defined,and the impact of agricultural export trade on the development of agricultural industry and transmission mechanism is analyzed from the theoretical level.And then referring to the existing theoretical results,the theoretical model suitable for this study is constructed,which provides a solid theoretical basis for the follow-up study.Secondly,the agricultural products trade and the development of agricultural industry are analyzed respectively.Among them,the analysis of agricultural products trade starts from the two levels of export scale and export quality.The analysis of export scale is mainly based on the total export volume,product mix and regional distribution;the analysis of export quality is based on the construction of export sophistication index to compare and evaluate the export quality differences between products and regions.The analysis of agricultural industry starts from the two levels of industrial scale and industrial structure.The analysis of industrial scale is mainly based on the perspective of overall scale,internal structure and regional distribution;the analysis of industrial structure is based on the measurement index to compare and evaluate the rationalization and optimization of industrial structure.Thirdly,on the basis of the development situation,guided by theoretical mechanisms,the impact of agricultural product export scale and export quality on the scale,rationalization and optimization of agricultural industrial structure is empirically tested from the two aspects of direct impact and impact mechanism.In the first level,from the static and dynamic perspectives,the fixed effect and random effect models of static panel and the vector autoregressive model of dynamic panel are used to analyze the direction and degree of direct impact.In the second level,the mediating effect model is used to test the influence mechanism of export trade on industrial development through mediating variables such as material capital,human capital,technology and institutional quality.Based on the above theoretical analysis,current situation analysis and empirical test results,the conclusions are as follows.(1)The agricultural products export and the agricultural industry both show a steady growth trend.Labor-intensive agricultural products export and industry are the main force of growth,while capital-technology-intensive agricultural products export and industry have greater potential to upgrade.The export and industry in the central and western regions are both faster than those in the eastern region.(2)Export trade of agricultural products can significantly promote the development of agricultural industry.Export quality promotes industrial development better than export scale,especially for the industrial rationalization and optimization in the central and western regions.(3)The transmission path of agricultural product export scale and export quality influencing agricultural industry development is different.The transmission function of material capital and technology is indispensable.Human capital plays a conductive role in the influence of export scale on industrial development,and the system quality plays a conductive role in the influence of export quality on industrial development.(4)The upgrading space of agricultural industrial structure in the eastern region is less than that in the central and western regions,the institutional quality in the central region still needs to be further improved,and the investment of human capital and technology in the western region needs to be strengthened urgently.Finally,based on the above research conclusions,the policy implications are summarized in order to promote the positive impact of agricultural products export trade on the development of agricultural industry in China.(1)Improving the quality of export trade by making use of domestic and foreign markets and attaching importance to technology and brand effects.(2)Promoting the healthy development of agricultural industry by emphasizing rationalization adjustment and accelerating the process of optimization.(3)Expanding intermediary transmission effect by increasing the allocation efficiency of production factors and strengthening the introduction of the production factors in the central and western regions.(4)Providing a solid institutional guarantee by optimizing the internal and external institutional environment and narrowing the differences in regional systems.
