The food processing industry is closely related to the national economy and people's livelihood.It bears the responsibility of providing people with basic living materials and is the basis for the country to develop other industries.According to the 2017 international trade statistics released by the world trade organization,the remaining eight countries among the world's top 10 food exporters except China and Brazil are all developed countries,while the remaining nine countries among the world's top 10 food importers are all developed countries except China.It can be seen that developed countries occupy a significant dominant position in the world food trade.Since the 1990 s,with the development of modern production of domestic food processing industry,its industrial structure has been constantly optimized,and the scale of foreign trade has been continuously expanded,and China's food processing products have always maintained a surplus.Especially since the reform and opening up,the annual growth rate of China's food processing industry has reached more than 10%,further enhancing the international competitiveness of China's food processing industry.In the 21 st century,the development of domestic economy has pushed food consumption into a new stage,and with China's accession to the WTO,the scale of food import and export has been further expanded.The scale of China's food trade is one of the fastest growing countries in the world's food trade in the past 20 years.In this article,through the comparative analysis,quantitative analysis and other methods of food processing and food processing industry in our country the development of international trade and international competitive situation is analyzed,and by building a "gravity model" and "diamond model" of the related factors affecting the food trade with the world powers between the comparative analysis to find out the strengths,weaknesses,hope as the relationship between the one billion three hundred million national economy and people's livelihood industry: food processing and improve the international competitiveness of contributions to the development of a force.This paper is divided into six chapters: chapter one,introduction,describes the current international trade situation of the food processing industry in the world and China as well as the value of analysis and research in this field,reviews the current theoretical research status of the international trade competitiveness of the food processing industry,and puts forward the structure of each chapter of this paper.Chapter two analyzes the current situation and development of China's food processing industry and the export target countries,import source countries and import and export of main export foods.The third chapter analyzes the competitiveness of China's food processing industry and international trade in various categories of food.The fourth chapter establishes panel data by constructing "gravity model",analyzes the export volume of various kinds of food and its influencing factors between China and major food trading partners,and calculates the export potential of various kinds of food in China on this basis.In the fifth chapter,through the construction of "diamond model",the relevant factors affecting China's food exports are compared and analyzed with the United States,the Netherlands,Brazil and other world food trading powers,so as to find out China's deficiencies in relevant aspects.Chapter six,based on the analysis results of the previous chapters,puts forward reasonable Suggestions for improving the competitiveness of China's food processing industry.
