How to improve the engagement of employees has always been the core issue of human resource management.Engagement is primarily used to measure employees' level of commitment to the organization in terms of emotions and behaviors aspects,It is reflected in the degree to which employees integrate themselves with their work.Therefore,there is a positive correlation between engagement and corporate organizational performance,profit and customer satisfaction.Since the 1990 s,the academics and research institutions have keen to explore the definition,latitude,measurement methods and key factors which affecting the employee engagement.At the same time,from 1980 s and 1990 s,along with the beginning of China's reform and opening up,it was influenced by the traditional culture and the values of modern culture,in addition,the new generation was born and grew up.Along with the rapid development of the social economy and the arrival of the information age,so that,they have distinct characteristics of era: strong personality,pursuit of liberty,diversity of values,not afraid of power and dare to challenge.At present,they have entered various industries and many of them have become the backbone of the bank industry.Based on the theory of the engagement of new generation employees,this paper investigates and analyzes the national joint-stock bank F-bank Xiangyang branch.First of all,individual interviews with new and old employees on related issues such as engagement and other issues which can build a perceptual cognition and preliminary evaluation of the new generation of employees' engagement.Then based on the Gallup Q12 and Hewitt 3s engagement theory,questionnaires were produced and distributed.By collecting and analyzing the effective information on the questionnaires,it illustrated that the conclusions of F-bank Xiangyang branch that new generation employees are less engaged.Last but not the least,from the perspectives of macroeconomic situation,employee personality and values,and enterprise human resource management,this paper analyzes the factors that affecting the engagement of new generation employees,and on this basis,discusses the situation of human resources management of F-bank Xiangyang branch,by taking the specific measures to improve the engagement of new generationemployees: set up a perfect recruitment process;guide employees to develop scientific development plans;conduct diversified staff training;build reasonable performance considerations and salary distribution systems;establish a good corporate culture.
