This article considers the opportunities for Russia presented by the launch of China's “One road one belt” initiative. This initiative is a comprehensive project for the rapid development of Central Asian countries, and not limited only to transport and logistics to guarantee the supply of Chinese goods to Europe.Significance of research:(1)The ideas, viewpoints, methods, and investment path options proposed in this paper will provide theoretical evidence for the further study and resolution of this issue, and have important theoretical and practical significance for promoting cooperation between Russia and China in transport framework of ‘One road one belt.(2)Further,in order to strengthen the investment and economic cooperation between China and Russia in various fields.Judging from the current bilateral trade and investment situation between China and Russia, the cooperation area has been continuously expanded to provide a reference for further investment and trade between China and Russia.(3)Russia may benefit from participating in the Silk Road initiative.First,it would help integrate its transportation system into the region's logistics network and provide additional opportunities for transit and associated logistical services as well as access to growing regional markets.Second, the Silk Road initiative offers opportunities to strengthen industrial cooperation among neighboring countries to develop new economic unions.Research purpose and main content. The work will examine a number of aspects of the new Chinese project "The Economic Belt of the Silk Road" or as it is also called " One road one belt",comprehensively analyze its internal content and infrastructure component,as well as benefits for Russia and China. In addition, recently the topic of cooperation in the development of the Arctic Ocean has been increasingly discussed, which has a direct bearing on the maritime part of the Chinese idea of the new Silk Road.It is important to look for a mutually beneficial option to involve China in the further development of this difficult but promising sea route, especially since a pilot project has already been implemented, within which the Russian Federation assisted in carrying out along this route a caravan of Chinese ships.Research innovation and deficiencies.Possible innovations. This article starts with the analysis of the trade development and transport cooperation between the two countries, and collects relevant macro data to analyze the transport, trade and investment environment of the two countries in a deeper level. These disadvantages and problems exist in investment between China and Russia in the project “One road one belt”.Nowadays supply of infrastructure in the Arctic area is imperfect.Constant climate change, the lack of accurate indicators,it is not possible to accurately predict the development of the Northern sea route. The prospects for cooperation in the Arctic zone are largely dependent on the development of the Northern Sea Route(NSR)as an independent transport corridor, and in cooperation with other sea routes. At the same time,my English comprehensive ability is limited in order to fully use it.If there is something wrong with the article,so please correct me!Conclusion. Thus, assessing the transit potential of the transport corridors crossing the territory of Primorsky Krai,we can say that the senders of goods from Asia-Pacific area need transit, but the conditions for the granting of transit are at low level that stems the rising flow.In the process of transport and logistics capacity realization in the Primorsky Krai can be noted some obstacles;those are existing capacities of ports and road infrastructure that already cannot cope with the growth of traffic and the fact that the region does not fully uses the advantages of the geographical position. Therefore,it is necessary to conclude an agreement between the Governments of Russia and China on the development of ITC “Primorye-1” and “Primorye-2”;in order to ensure investment in infrastructure for the development of these transport corridors, particularly Chinese and Russian companies. In addition to the projects “Primorye –1 and Primorye-2”,it makes sense to develop the NSR.The NSR is a route with great potential, but huge investments are needed for its development, since there are much more problems than advantages. Therefore,to get the most out of the NSR,it is already necessary to create conditions by improving the infrastructure of the northern ports and modernizing the icebreaker and transport-ice fleet.Usage of NSR can become economically attractive for China only with a significant increase in route loading and the establishment of regular navigation(gain due to economies of scale),rising world energy prices(gain due to saving expensive fuel)or lowering the cost of icebreaking support and insurance. To summarize,we note the following.Despite the shortcomings and gaps in the process of economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China,we can say that cooperation between the two States on a bilateral level,is an effective and dynamic,as well as has prospects for further deepening. Both states can develop international mega projects within the framework of the “one road one belt” Chinese initiative.Given the general trends of world development and the nature of Russian's relations with the West,it appears that in the future,RussianChinese relations will maintain their current logic of development and continue to combine components of strategic and tactical partnership and competition.
